I had to move my things over to my parents house before my trip in Sep, the dudes were like 15 min late but everything else went perfect, really happy.

I hired state to state movers for a move from Florida to California. The initial experience was wonderful, will Harris was my relocation consultant and he was a dream to deal with. Receiving our furniture, however, was a nightmare that still is not over. We were given less than 24-hours notice that they would arrive at our apartment, most of our boxes were damp, and it was quite evident no care was taken when handling our stuff because even boxes labeled "fragile" were crumpled. The movers broke my desk, assembled it backwards, and did not assemble our shelving units, and in fact left the support brackets on their van. They also left with some of our furniture still in the truck, including one piece that we saw unloaded, but for some reason they reloaded it back in their van! We called the driver of the van so we could have them bring back our items, and the response was "we have a job in San Francisco we will bring it back tomorrow" two months later, we still do not have three pieces of furniture, one of which is a very precious heirloom. I have called and emailed state to state movers and have not been able to speak with any customer support willing to help recover our furniture. it is very frustrating that state to state movers' service is so poor, because they come off as a great company when you initially call them for a quote. I am very, very disappointed.
