Cooks & Soldiers is a must for anyone wanting great food and service.
We previously lived in ATL and were visiting for vacation. Decided we HAD to get our C&S fix while in town. We had told Emma it was our daughter’s 4th bday and she took over from there. She told our server, Joe, and he made sure to spread the word to others.
Every time someone dropped off food or drinks they made sure to wish our daughter a happy birthday by name. Her smile was nonstop the whole meal.
Speaking of meal, dinner was impeccable. We had the Alcachofas, Patatas Bravas, Bikini, Chistorra Envuelta, Cana de Cabra, and Ensalada. Our drinks were tasty too.
Service is what made this meal memorable for us. Joe went above and beyond to ensure our children (4 & 2) were comfortable and important while making sure mom and dad enjoyed a great meal.
We will never forget this meal and will be back whenever we get a chance.

This is my second time having dinner here, and both times my dinning experience was Great! We decided to have the Grand Asador Experience which was a great decision. Basically, the tapas are chosen bynthe chef, and the choice or entrees are the guests. Every dish tasted great and was beautifully prepared. Our waiter, Alex, made the experience even better. The cocktails, wine selection, customer, and lastly the food were all 5 star.

I had the pleasure of dining at Cooks & Soldiers and couldn’t have been more impressed. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with a variety of seating options, warm lighting, and décor that creates an inviting yet upscale ambiance.
The service was impeccable. Alfredo, our server, was one of the best I’ve encountered—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely enthusiastic. He didn’t just explain the menu; he brought it to life in a way that made every dish sound irresistible.
We started with drinks: the Buena Morena, a mezcal cocktail with layered, smoky complexity, and the Naranja y Miel, a bright, citrus-forward take reminiscent of a Bee’s Knees. Both were expertly balanced.
For starters, the Gambas were flavorful yet light—an excellent way to begin the meal. The Piquillo Relleno stood out as well, with tender braised lamb complemented beautifully by a smoky yogurt.
The entrées were exceptional. The Pescado a la Parrilla was a true standout—the skin perfectly crisp and the sauce rich with depth. The Pollo Basquaise was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and the sauce was so good it was impossible to leave behind.
On the side, the broccoli was a highlight and one I’d definitely order again. The alcachofas, paired with ibérico ham, were a pleasant surprise—something I wouldn’t normally choose but ended up really enjoying.
We finished with the Bizcocho de Dátil, and the olive oil gelato was the star—unique, smooth, and a perfect ending to the meal.
Cooks & Soldiers is absolutely a standout and a place I’d gladly return to and recommend.

Dinner at Cooks & Soldiers tonight was an absolute experience. Right away, we were greeted by friendly faces at the host stand including Emma the Sommer and Miranda. Both were so excited for our group’s first time dining with Cooks!
We sat at a table in a beautiful dining room with Alfredo as our server. Immediately he informed our group about the curated experience the team had planned for us, with a paired wine experience. It was the fullest extent of hospitality.
As for the food and wine, (we went with the Grand Asador experience) everything was delectable. Some of the standouts were particularly the Mountain Bread!! Gosh I never could have imagined bread to have such flavor, the Alaskan Halibut, the tuna, the green bean and valdeon salad, as well as the chuleton & date cake! Every glass of wine coincided with every dish perfectly. The dishes were truly beautifully plated and well described every single time.
Overall, our first time dining at Cooks was superb. The entire team took great care of us and the food just spoke for itself. This will definitely not be the last visit to C&S for us!

My hands down favorite item on the menu is their olive oil gelato. If you leave here without getting that, you are missing out on life. The gelato is creamy, soft, and a perfect balance of not too sweet with flecks of salt and generous, beautiful olive oil.
With that said, we have been here a couple times and also brought our family who are selective eaters. We have loved everything we have tried on the menu. The shrimp and leek gamba is well-balanced. My family LOVED the upscale grilled cheese (bikini). The savory churros were delightful. You must get the ribeye. Two people ate 32 ounces--enough said. The branzino was nicely highlighted by the herb and citrus accompaniment. We got several servings of the side carrots and broccoli...which we did fight over because they were delicious.
The only thing we didn't demolish was the pomme puree; it was a bit salty but still good.
The service was top notch, and they accommodate both large and small parties with surety and tact.
