I cannot say enough great things about California Collision. The staff is always friendly and professional. Unfortunately, I’ve had multiple incidents where I needed my cars repaired. My cars were returned in perfect condition without any issues. My most recent incident involved a potential total loss of the vehicle. Our goal was to keep the car. They performed an X-Ray tech procedure to determine the actual amount of damage behind the bumper. They were completely honest about the repairs the car would undergo to fix it. We determined that it was too costly to repair. With their advice, I was fortunate enough to go back to my insurance adjuster and return the car for a complete and total loss rather than the salvage amount. Thank you California Collision for all of your help!!

Once in a blue moon, you come across a business run so well that it raises your expectations, and deep down you know you’ll be coming back. That’s practically unheard of for an auto body shop. California Collision is one of those unicorns. My only regret is not hearing about them sooner.

Looking back on the unfortunate experience of being rear-ended on the freeway, California Collision was the clear standout. Not only did they get my BMW back on the road as if nothing had happened, they handled the entire process with a concierge-level touch. And that’s coming from a frequent business traveler who works in private equity.

George and the team handled everything with my best interests in mind. They are an honest-to-goodness family business — the real deal; they all share the same last name. The first thing George did during drop-off was insist on giving me a walkthrough of the entire shop and work area. Other shops might hesitate or deflect if you ask, but George volunteered it immediately, without even being prompted. By the time I left, there wasn’t a corner of the place I hadn’t seen.

Their communication and customer service are first-class. My calls, messages, and emails were always returned promptly. They handled the insurance process and coordinated the rental car. I didn’t have to do anything besides give approvals.

The job was done exactly how I wanted and even exceeded my expectations. My BMW is older, so I expected aftermarket parts, but everything ended up being OEM at no cost to me. Even my optional factory/OEM+ M Performance parts were properly handled. The color match and fit were factory-perfect. George is a perfectionist and personally inspects each vehicle before releasing it, making sure it meets his own high standards.

I have never been this spoiled by a body shop. Highly recommend.

I had an outstanding experience with California Collision in Pleasanton. George and his team did exceptional body work on my Toyota Venza and truly went above and beyond. When I got my car back, it honestly looked better than new. The attention to detail, quality and pride in their work really shows.
What made the process even smoother was how seamlessly they handled everything with my AAA insurance. They kept me informed, made the process stress-free, and delivered exactly what they promised.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and professional collision repair shop, this is the place to go. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

California Collision in Pleasanton absolutely deserves every bit of praise I can give. After my late father’s Dodge Challenger was stolen from my driveway and later found crashed in another city, I was devastated. The car holds enormous sentimental value for me, and the thought of it being destroyed was heartbreaking.

It quickly became clear that restoring the car was a much bigger task than any of us initially realized—but George took it on without hesitation and committed to seeing it through. He knew what the car meant to me and went above and beyond, working tirelessly with insurance and managing every challenge that came up along the way.

George’s communication, professionalism, and genuine empathy made an incredibly difficult situation so much easier to navigate. Thanks to him and the entire team at California Collision, my father’s Challenger looks as good as new—something I honestly didn’t think would be possible. Their craftsmanship, dedication, and heart are unmatched. If you’re looking for a shop that truly cares, this is the place. I’m forever grateful.
