Took care of my insurance claim against a neglegent driver, from start to finish! Exceeded my expectations and so much less stress then I was expected to deal with during this situation.

I have recently had a car repaired at the Bolton Ontario Carstar location.



The repair was contracted through Paul Coffey’s Bolton Toyota, where Carstar has a sales outlet on site.



The estimator there ( Mike Simone ) has left me with a VERY bad experience.



As of today, the car had been returned four times in my attempts to make this repair correct, and it’s still not right.



The paint work is terrible, there is contamination ( dirt particles ) in the paint finish, there was a deep gouge on the trunk lid which was not sanded or filled correctly but was still painted, so the gouge is still there, painted over.



Today, the car had to be returned as the rear bumper fascia apparently was not installed correctly and started to fall off. The dealer ended up repairing this themselves, and while this was happening your rep was fully aware of the goings on but did not even have the courtesy to ask what was happening, he did not even say hello.



Apparently good customer service is only until the bill is paid.



This is some of the worst workmanship I have experienced in a very long time, and Mike has been terrible to deal with from the beginning, apparently nothing is his fault, everything that is wrong is someone else’s doing.



I will not be using or recommending Carstar to anyone, EVER.



All that was promised up front for quality and standing behind your work , apparently is a lie.
