I took my car to Carstar in Guelph as per my insurance company and what a big mistake. George said he would only fix the bumper because he did not see the car before the accident therefore he would not fix the trunk or latches which were damaged from the accident. I called the insurance company who were perfectly accommodating to me taking the car elsewhere for a second opinion. The second company and the insurance company's adjuster agreed with me that the trunk and latches were damaged during the accident and agreed to fix it.
I did find out from the insurance company that Car Star did claim to the insurance company that they would fix the other damage but they told me they would not. I think what Carstar tells you what they will fix and what they tell the insurance company to fix are two different quotes. Car Star pockets the difference.

I am very surprise to see excellent review but I visited the CarStar Guelph ON Canada location and had a very bitter experience. I have lots to complaint about George who probably the owner of this place. He is very rude and have no good customer service experience. He is very irritable personality. I requested my pre-accident pictures but he never replied to me. I had some issues as to whether my car was damaged at his place. To investigate the situation only pictures taken prior to the accident would give me satisfaction that it was not damages at the repair facility but no response from CARSTAR Guelph location.

What can I say. Excellent, friendly right from the estimate to making rental arrangement. Work was done on time. I am a very busy person everything went very smoothly no hitches. The work on the car looks like the accident never happened. Highly recommend to family and friends, They also went beyond call of duty to do all the little extras. Like cleaning the interior. Just a quick note to say your service and quality is outstanding !
I dropped by with no appointment late Monday afternoon to see if I could get a bumper skirt replaced. The part was overnight delivered and by mid-day Wednesday, the job was done in a quality way !
I also appreciate that you cleaned the entire car…inside and out. That was not expected at all!

I absolutely loved my experience with Carstar. The staff was most helpful and ALWAYS answered the phone. The job was done to perfection and ahead of time. The staff was accommodating with helping me get a rental, move baby seats or even doing the rental running around for me. The treatment was authentic and ethical. Above expectations. Thank you!!

I was delighted with the repair on my Audi. The work was perfect and done in exactly the time promised. I had priced the job at auto shops closer to my home before visiting Georg and I was given a quote of over three times what Georg had quoted me. The job was perfect and to call the price "fair" would be an understatement. An excellent experience all around.

I had recently brought in my Mazda 3 into CARSTAR. Customer service was exceptional from the moment I walked in to the time I drove away. I was taken aback as to how friendly and knowledgeable the CARSTAR staff was. Allison had even offered to coordinate a car rental for me, I didn't need one mind you but it's nice to know that this convenient service is available and I didn’t have to inquire about it. They have a very welcoming, clean and tidy seating area while you wait. I couldn't ask for anything more. My car was delivered to me clean and in perfect condition, no sign of the rust which was evident when I dropped it off. Hopefully, I won't need to use their services again; however, if I do I wouldn't hesitate going back to CARSTAR Guelph. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing repairs. From the initial estimate to the pick-up, I want to say thank you to Georg and his staff for an incomparable service experience.
