Kentwood Ford is a dealership to stay away from. I traded my truck in for a vehicle that is more affordable in payments. The deal I got from Kentwood Ford was shady. I was sold warranty for the new vehicle only to find out three months down the road that the warranty was void on the day the deal was made; which cause so much negative equity in the car loan that the car can not be traded for almost a year. The vehicle is a 2019 and it does not suit my family, we can not use it for a family car when my boyfriend joins us for a family outing and it uses a lot of gas (which drains my tight family budget, and being a single mom that is not good). I had someone working with me on my behalf and when they were talking to staff at Kentwood about the shady deal they put me in, the staff member of Kentwood Ford laughed and thought it was a joke. So I highly recommend people to stay away from Kentwood Ford and go some else. The staff of Kentwood Ford thinks it's a joke when they put someone in a car loan with whole a lot of negative equity and don't want to help the person. I am a single mom who got taken and so now I am telling people to stay away from this dealership, Kentwood Ford.

My wife bought her 2014 Escape from Lee at Kentwood Ford Used Vehicles 2 years ago. That fall, we needed a vehicle to pull a trailer, so the wife called Lee and we ended up trading in for a Ford Flex Limited. Recently, I was looking for a gas-wise vehicle to drive back and forth for work, the wife again calls Lee and I purchased a Focus. Each transaction has been great experience. So great, in fact that while I was in with finance, my wife took a car for a test drive and ended up trading in the Escape.

Let me start by saying that I have been a fan and previous owner of GMC trucks for a very long time and when it came time to buy a new vehicle, GMC was my immediate front runner for a new truck. A friend recently bought a new F150 from Kentwood Ford so I had plenty of opportunity to ride in and drive an F150 prior. Like most new vehicle buyers, I did my research and spoke to friends and family and the F150 quickly became a contender for choice. Upon my first and only visit to Kentwood to "shop around" I was sold on the F150 in one trip. The choice was not only because of the truck itself but also the great service and attention of the Kentwood staff - in particular Asa! For many new car buyers that have the fear of the typical "car buying experience", do your research and if Ford is of interest go to Kentwood and speak to Asa. I'm confident he and the staff will make your car buying experience very easy and painless.
PS. I gave 4.5 stars out of 5 as I just recently bought my truck as of this date and am leaving a small amount of error. :-)

The time in and out was really great the service work was completed they did a great job, but when I go to get warranty work and you are providing me a vehicle to use as a loaner. then please warm it up, clean all the windows of ice and frost and remove the snow or at least provide me brush if you are too busy to assist instead handing me the keys and telling me to let it warm up before using it.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience and I would not recommend this dealership. When agreeing to the purchasing a used Ford escape, it was written the price of the vehicle along with Go auto credits on a Go auto card. When I went to pick the vehicle up the amvic inspection had not been completed. It was agreed to pick the vehicle up the next day. When going the next day the final balance was paid and the invoice indicated that the unit was paid in full. I took the vehicle home. 2 months later the sales department called Angela stating that we still owed an additional $1,000.00. It was stated that the receipt said it was paid in full but she insisted that this balance had to be paid. Upon payment of this amount the Go auto dealer was asked for the cards with the $500 credit on them. I was told that they were ready to go. 1 month later the unit went in for service and I went to use the Go auto card for payment and was told that there was a zero balance on the card. I then contacted the Dealership and spoke to the manager Chris and explained the situation and was told that this would go to head office. He stated that he would get back to me. It has now been 3 weeks and there has been no resolution. Given the journey that I have had from this dealership I would only recommend that you steer clear of this business.

I went in for a service appointment and a slow leak, which I knew was sidewall damage after having been to another Ford dealer in the city.
The service was completed and the replacement tire under warranty was ordered and replaced the next day the other Ford dealer downtown tried to sell me on replacing two tires saying they would ride the same and if I didn't I could void my warranty not so. Great job Kentwood

Brought my truck in for a couple of issues, rear defrost doesn't work and transmission occasionally downshifts at very low speeds with a clunk. Defrost issue is a $1700.00 rear window replace because..... Ford and transmission is a program update they want $180.00 for. I can't understand why I need to pay for fixing a faulty factory program that has had 2 service advisories issued by Ford. If Kentwood wanted any of my future business, they should have done the programming for nothing (already paying them $180.00 so they could tell me what they already knew via service advisories). Lauren, my service advisor, was pleasant but unable/unwilling to do anything to make a repeat client out of me. Very poor policy and customer relations in my opinion. I will not be going back again, for any reason.

Went in over the holiday, had one small problem and a minor unresolved issue. Service advisor explained that neither service was covered by warranty ( had not been explained before). Both issues resolved, no charge- no attitude = no complaints.

Admittedly it's hard to deal with the public when your in to get your car fixed.
Everything isn't the dealers fault.
I went in with a grumpy mindset but kentwood quickly turned that around.
I bought my escape New in 2013 and I love it. It has been in for a few repairs since but kentwood has always fixed it for me, checked what's covered and kept me up to date on cost.
Have I spent more on repairs then I would like? Yes....... but nothing runs forever!
Heidi in service is amazing and you can tell she has a passion for her work. She kept me updated and returned all my calls. Absolute asset to that department.
Kentwood does a good job taking care of there customers!
