I took a vehicle for a drive and wanted to make a deal, but the vehicle had a check engine light on. Staff assured me that it would be cleared up under the existing warranty the vehicle had and that Weber Exclusive would arrange for it to be fixed if I was to purchase.nWe were able to come to an agreement on price+trade and I placed a deposit. I delivered a bank draft for the remaining balance the following business day and awaited Weber to get the vehicle repaired before swapping my trade-in vehicle.nAfter that, communication was sparse. I kept asking for more details about the repair and kept getting vague responses and the timeline for the vehicle being ready was constantly shifting.nAlmost 2 weeks after paying for the vehicle I was informed that they were going to refund my money and when the vehicle was up to par they would relook at the deal. I received my refund just fine, however, when I picked up my refund I noticed they were showing the vehicle to other customers who were taking it for a test drive.nAfter doing some digging I also noticed that a fresh ad was placed on Kijiji on several days prior to them cancelling my deal and refunding me. I believe they have been very dishonest with me throughout the whole process. If they were no longer able to provide the deal we negotiated they should have been straightforward about it and backed out, rather than jerking me around and relisting the vehicle after I had paid for it.n
