Our purchasing experience was OK overall til we wanted to write the cheque. The business manager tried to high pressure my son to buy a warranty. He did not want any witnesses and SCREAMED IT WAS COMPANY POLICY. There are several complaints to the BBB about this warranty and dozens of litigations. If it is company policy to trap young people to try and sell bad product I would suggest to go elsewhere. Remember dishonest people don't want witnesses, invite the sales person to sit in and watch what happens. THIS MAN IS A CROOK AND WILL GIVE BAD ADVICE ON EVERYTHING.

I would like to take a few minutes to share a positive experience we had, and continue to have, at a car dealership here in Winnipeg.
Seven months ago, my fiancée and I purchased a used Chevrolet Malibu from Jim Gauthier Cadillac Buick GMC over on McPhillips Street at Templeton Avenue.
We were hesitant to go in at first because due to mistakes we've made in the past, our credit situation isn’t that great.
Both of the individuals we dealt with (Richard and Barret) treated us with dignity and kindness, even after seeing that our credit history was horrible. Not only that, but they were extremely patient and understanding while we attended to the needs of our (then) 4 month-old baby girl.
Over the last seven months, this professional and courteous treatment has extended to all of our interactions with the various people who work at this dealership.
Our vehicle has been in for service a couple of times due to climate-related issues: Both times the mechanics did an awesome job fixing the vehicle.
Not only that but Kevin, our service advisor, managed to cut us a break on the repair costs and was very knowledgeable when it came to warranty coverage, as well as the ins and outs of our vehicle and its operation.
The dealership even lent us a vehicle while we waited for the repairs to be completed!
If you are considering a new or used vehicle, we HIGHLY recommend Jim Gauthier Cadillac Buick GMC. They'll work with you even if your credit is less than perfect, and they will look after you long after the sale's been made.
