Was beyond happy with my purchase of my 2020 SI until driving it off the lot I noticed something strange happening and had it checked over and diagnosed as the clutch gone bad.

I call Fairley and Stevens to have it looked into to replacing it as I had just bought the car over a week ago at that point. I waited for my appointment which was may 26th and had great service from Sarah (I believe) in the service department along with Don the shuttle drive who was so kind to drive me around a few times while I wait 7.5 hours for the diagnosing appointment.

I was told I would know today on what they end result would be (now feeling foolish to think a dealership would go good for selling a car with a bad clutch) and I got the call saying that it would not be covered completely by the dealer although they would give me a “discount” so I would only have to pay around $1300.00 OUT OF POCKET on my new car I bought a couple of weeks ago. Or to give back the car.

I am so upset by this and really feeling discouraged and next time I buy a car it most definitely won’t be from here. Definitely confirms in my mind not to trust most dealerships. I guess you should get your car pre inspected by a mechanic before buying from here since not everyone would know what to look for. sad world we’re living in.

Will be sharing my experience with anyone I know looking to buy a vehicle. Hopefully I don’t get any more surprise expenses when it is brought in to get fixed.

At this dealership your vehicle goes in for servicing at the time of your appointment and it is done when they say it will be, about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. Very friendly and helpful personal. We bought 2 trucks from them and have been happy with the trucks and the service.

I purchased a Ford Focus Hatchback. The most fun car to drive I owned. The customer service at Fairley and Stevens is excellent. I was able to take my time; had any question I asked answered thoroughly. The staff at Fairley and Stevens are very kind and accommodating to your needs. Ask for Katelyn.

Thank you, I love my car. It is so much fun to drive.

Nice facility and normally prompt service. People at the service counter are not as courteous and knowledgeable as one might expect. Ask for Cory and you will get the service you expect. He has always been excellent! I recently had transmission issues. They were resolved with a wiring module change and software upgrade. I had to make more than one visit before they could diagnose the problem then I was told that there was an outstanding TSB addressing the issue. Although they were aware that the 2011 and 2012 F150s were affected they did not routinely do the upgrade until a customer complained. I subsequently found out that Ford was planning a recall for this specific problem. It was planned for June 2016. I have yet to see evidence of the recall. I mentioned this on my recent service visit and was told that indeed there was a recall requiring a simple module change but I was never notified and nothing showed on my receipt that this had been done so I dont know where I stand in that regard. Generally quite happy but it is the little things as described that bother me. Why do I have to leave with unanswered questions or have doubts above Ford policies in general?

We went into this Dealership just two days ago to obtain pricing on a Ford Escape. We clearly advised the sales agent that our Dodge Ram Truck was serviced at the Dodge dealer in Dartmouth, and it was determined that the Rear Differential needed to be replaced. We clearly advised that there was new front and back brakes, new bearings, new exhaust, new side runners, new box(replaced 2 yrs and no rust), and front Differential parts only replaced in July($4500.00 in work). We advised that Dodge offered us $5000.00. We negotiated a deal with the Sales Agent upon Steele's Manager approval on the Ford Escape with a check for $5000.00 to be cut back to us for our truck. My husband advised the sales agent the truck would need to be towed to the dealership as it could not be moved(Dodge had taken the oil out of the Differential to determine what work needed to be done), and the truck was as is. Upon manager's approval, we were guaranteed $5000.00 cash back for the truck!. We shook hands, signed all necessary paperwork and met with the business manager who told us when we questioned things; ". I'm very busy and don't have time to assist". TERRIBLE and RUDE!! We agreed to pick the new vehicle up next day at 4PM. Next morning we had the truck towed as promised, and when we showed up at 4PM to sign and pick up our new vehicle, the sales agent starts with " We have your vehicle in our gravel pit(We incurred the cost of towing, and was told to place it in the gravel pit instead being brought to service), and we cannot move it and it is a liability to us". I cut her OFF right there as I knew we were being back stabbed. The $5000.00 is now $4500.00! I told her to go get my keys to my truck, and she returned 15 mins later offering $4750.00. I very clearly explained to her that I did not appreciate being lied to, and advised that if this is the way they are treating us and we didn't even take possession of the Escape yet then we didn't need thier business, The moral of this story "0 Stars", "0 Customer Loyalty and terrible management! The last words we were advised was to take our truck off their lot by 8:30PM. They pasted up a $35,000 deal over $250.00. Ford Must be proud!

The work they do is great. It's efficient and on-line. Pricing is what it is, a dealer always has a higher overhead that "Joe's" garage around the corner ~ BUT ~ I 'always' get the feeling they tell you what needs to be done based on their evaluation of your degree of understanding and likelihood of being paying for it rather than the actual needs.

My Edge has about 165,000 km. I started experiencing a clunk from the transmission when it would downshift to start climbing a hill. This is at lower speeds in around 70-80 kph. I noticed this did not happen during the winter when it was cold but was more prevalent when spring and warmer weather rolled around. The dealership fixed this issue with a software update. I was told tht there was a new Technical Service Bulletin out instructing how to correct this particular issue. I was charged approximately $200 for the shop to complete the repair and was thankful that it didn; t cost me more; however when I asked to see a copy of the TSB the garage would not share it with me. I was curious to know when it was issued as it would have been nice to have had the update performed when the car was still under the powertrain warranty (that is, if the TSB was available at that time). I also found it odd that a software update corrected the issue. I would have liked to havenunderstood how updating the software made the transmission work properly again? My initial thoughts were that a solenoid had failed or a filter was plugged. Note also that I had the tranny flushed by the same dealership in January as partnof the same complaint. I am not totally satisfied with the repair as it still makes a slight clunk from time to time an I don't feel all my questions were answered as well as they could have been.
