Do not take your car for service at this Mazda dealership. My husband took my daughter's Mazda3 in for an oil change recently and was told the brakes were "almost gone". Fearing for his daughter's safety, my husband okayed the service to replace the brakes. As my daughter was on vacation and could not be reached immediately, he did not consult her. Later, she told us that she had the brakes done as recently as October 2015 at a Midas centre where they would replace the brake pads and only charge for the service. Mazda charged over $600 for these new brakes - which probably were not "almost gone". They never showed him the worn brakes (although they could have showed him anything whether they were hers or not). This was not the only time they did unnecessary service. When the car was just over a year old, they told my daughter that the transmission fluid needed replacing. Another Mazda dealership told her that her transmission system was sealed and was "SkyActiv" technology and did not need replacing. The Erin Mills service dept. to their credit, did give my daughter credit for the dollar value of the work they had done. But, really, how many people EVERY DAY, are they hosing!

I went to Erin Mills Mazda today and wasted my entire Saturday. I was lied to, strung along, and then basically held hostage when they refused to give me the keys to my car back. Stay away.

We were hoping to trade in our two vehicles for one Mazda 3. The two vehicles are a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire (would sell privately for $6 000 based on condition and mileage) and a 2007 Volkswagen City Jetta (would sell privately for $10 000 based on condition and mileage). We found a 2013 Mazda 3 that we liked which was listed at $13 888. Before we went home to pick up the second vehicle to be inspected, I was very clear that we were only proceeding with the deal if we were going to get a reasonable percentage of the car’s value applied to the Mazda for trade in. The representative, Mike, told us “If we can resell the vehicle for $8 000 we will purchase it for $5 000-6 000”. I assumed that since I was able to privately sell the two vehicles for $16 000 and just didn’t want to do the work that we would be offered $10 000-12 000.

THREE HOURS LATER we were told the trade in value for BOTH vehicles would be $5 300 – less than the value of the cheaper car. They expected we would give them a Jetta as a gift, I guess. Within about 10 minutes that offer went up to $10 000, so they essentially acknowledged that they had been trying to hustle us for $4 700. We no longer wished to do business with them so we asked for our car keys back, which they really had no need to still be keeping from us anyway. They agreed, but we then sat there alone for a solid 8 minutes before I had to tell another employee that I wished to leave and that they were holding my property without my consent (Mike had not bothered to get our keys – he was apparently working on his next sale).

It took us less than an hour to find another car dealer who offered us $7 500 for the Jetta alone. The representative at the other dealership laughed and said “Wow, some people are just crooks” when we told him about our experience with Mike.

Purchased my 2014 Mazda 3 GX about two weeks ago, Lilian Yange was super helpful and I would recommend her strongly, she put 110% effort to get me a good deal, Thank you Lilian! I have no regrets at all!
Haven't got the car yet but I am still waiting for the delivery to happen anytime soon! I think its a pretty good dealership and most of the people there are nice and friendly

We will no longer be bringing our vehicle for service to Erin Mills Mazda. Every time we have an appointment whether it be for a simple oil change, tire swap, or warranty work, its guaranteed a minimum 3 hour wait. When we inquire about the long wait time Julie is always less than friendly and even snippy at times, this is not what I expected when spending $45,000.00 on our new car. We have had 2 warranty issues with our vehicle, which isn't the problem. however both times we have brought the car in to have the issue resolved, we have been given the runaround. The first time for almost 3 months! even after they had acknowledged a flaw in the part. There appears to be a huge disconnect within, between customers and service advisors. The mechanics at Erin Mills Mazda are fantastic and very professional, however we will be going to another dealership from now on. Many of our family and friends also drive Mazda's because of their quality vehicles, and I can also assure you they will not EVER be back, because they have experienced the same issues.

The staff was extremely personable, respectful and customer focused. I believe that mazda cars are top notch, it's the salespeople that make or break enjoying the car buying experience. I would definetly refer my friends and family to Erin mills mazda.
