Life is stressful: long commutes, busy careers, challenging people... and when your relationship is stressful, that's really hard. So when you decide to go for couple's counselling you want to know that your couple's therapist will really know how to help you. That's why, when I first decided to specialize in couple's therapy, I looked for the best training available in the couple's therapy field. That was more than 10 years ago. Since then I've continued to develop my skills as a couple's therapist. There's been so much research of late on adult love relationships. We now have a science of adult love. I use these scientific findings in my work with distressed couples. Many couples in distress have sexual concerns too so I have specialized training in that area too. I'm a registered sex therapist with BESTCO In addition to the typical weekly or bi-weekly couple's counselling, I offer 3-Day Intensive Counselling (one couple and myself). Two to three times per year I hold couple retreats for 10-15 couples. At a retreat there are group presentations and videos.
