I bought a 2019 Jetta from these guys, purchased the premium after care package which included oil changes, lifetime engine work, rental car when mine was in the shop.
Fast forward a year and my car has a bad oil leak. Call them to activate a claim, and they tell me to get it diagnosed and send them the work order, and I do. The service manager calls me and says that only the diagnosis is covered and not the repair. When they were selling me this package, they said it was for peace of mind and if ANYTHING went wrong with the engine, transmission, drive train went wrong I would be covered. I paid $2000 for this laughable warranty. The way they are dealing with a paying costumer and is deplorable. Very shady. I wish that I had never bought my car from them. If you are looking to buy a car don’t go to automaxx! You will be disappointed just like me.
If you do, don’t buy the after care package. It is a scam. They will be happy to give you their lawyers number, but not make good on their promise to take care of you vehicle.

what a beautiful facility! The staff is friendly and totally knowledgeable.

These guys at automaxx on McKnight were amazing. I went in on a whim with my 1974 Porsche as a trade and by the end of the day I was driving away in a beautiful barely used Mercedes! I had a different idea of what I might be looking for but Julian and Chris one upped me on this and got me this phenomenal 2010 Mercedes E350 with only 22,000 km! Thanks you guys cause I’m loving this car! So easy to deal here!

After an extended search, I just purchased a vehicle in Calgary. As advertised online, Automaxx on 6 St NE provides an excellent variety of inventory to choose from and they match this with personalized customer service. Sales staff are attentive and patient as you shop. The Finance guys were very helpful and super knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

I purchased a vehicle last August, a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This was my first vehicle, and overall I'm somewhat happy with the buying experience. Justin helped me and made it very easy for me to get what I wanted at a reasonable price. Although I was offered a 2011 with nicer options that I wanted more, and the day before I bought it he switched it out to a 2012 without even telling me so much as the colour of it, it was still more or less what I wanted. It has a few problems, leaking coolant, battery light comes on from time to time for no reason that any mechanic could find, and I wasn't told that my warranty requires a $150 deductible. That's really all fine, I'm not worried about it since it still drives fine.
I wasn't told, however, that it was a BC vehicle, not an Albertan vehicle, so when I went to get it registered, surprise surprise I had to pay for an out of province inspection. When I called to ask about this, it was 'included in my paperwork somewhere'. No, it wasn't. I kept all my paperwork together. Whatever though, I got it done.
The main problem I've had in dealing with Automaxx Calgary is that since the day the vehicle was delivered to me, I can't get anyone's attention for important things that I need from them at Automaxx. I lost my bill of sale and all the other paperwork that came with the vehicle to water damage in my home. I've spoken to someone named Brice, someone named Kyle, someone named Jason, and no one seems to have the decency to give me a return call or email. I've messaged Automaxx on Facebook, had someone call me about my issue, and then never heard from anyone there again. I've done this four times now since December of 2014. FOUR times. When I called the first time, the receptionist sent me to Jason's phone, where I got voicemail. Never heard back. Then I spoke to someone online who said they would get it done. Nope. The third time I spoke to Brice, this was last Wednesday. I never heard from him again. When I spoke with Kyle two days ago, I was told the paperwork was in a different building and he would get it to me the next day. That didn't happen. They promise you everything just to keep you hoping that they'll come through, and they never do.

Severely disappointing service and I would have thought that since this is my first vehicle buy, which I told Justin, that I would have been treated properly to keep me coming back. I will never buy another vehicle from them, and if I ever hear any of my friends or family thinking about a new vehicle, I will tell them to steer clear of Automaxx altogether.

Now I expect I'll probably recieve a phone call or an e-mail from someone about this review, asking how they can make it right. I want my paperwork for the vehicle I bought, but to be completely honest, I don't expect anything. I doubt I'll get it, and that's fine. Poor work ethic and disregard for customers that have already been locked into a contract is what I paid for, it's just a shame it cost me 35 grand.

While I don't mind things moving at a quick pace, When I bought my truck in December 2014 everything happened very fast and before I had any real time to think about any concerns I might have, I was signing papers and out the door. It did help me get into my truck quickly which was nice but a week or so afterwards I had realized that I only received one key with my Truck. I talked with some friends to see what they received as they recently purchased vehicles from other dealerships and all of them received two keys. I talked to the sales representative I dealt with and was told he would look into it and get back to me in the new year. I waited to no avail. I text him a week into February to see what was going and if he had any information about the spare key. He said the truck only came with one but he would see if he could get me the dealerships pricing on another key if I was interested. I replied asking how much it would be and didn't hear back again. I feel that since you work in customer service, You should respond to people in a timely manner instead of ignoring them completely. I don't enjoy having to chase down answers. I feel like I was only important until I signed the papers buying the truck. Its been two months since I raised the concern about not receiving a spare key and am no closer to getting any answers.

I purchased a car from Automaxx in Dec 2012. I found a car I was interested in thru their website. I have to say the car was in pristine condition when it was presented to me. It was clean, inside and out. This is something that this dealership does well compared to some others I had visited. Our salesmen, Dexx, was very professional, down to earth, easy to deal with. I was satisfied with the deal we made. When we came to pick up the car it only came with one key. After a brief discussion with him about this he said that he will contact the original owner and see if they can located the other key. Unfortunately the second key was not located. Their was a difference in opinion wether the dealership should provide me me a second set of keys, their opinion is that it only came in with one key and thats all you get was not satisfactory to me. in my opinion this should have been disclosed. I had a discussion with the GM and we came up with a favourable result that I thought was fair. They seem to pride themselves in how they present their cars and customer satisfaction. I can definitely recommend them if you are looking to buy a used vehicle.
