I fired my previous A/C service company about nine years ago because they wanted to install an expensive part that was not defective. I hired Kleen Air Services, and have only good words to say about them over the last eight years. We have a service contract with them, and if I call for an emergency, they are here within 24 hours usually. Over these nine years they replaced both my aging and failing A/C systems giving me very reasonable prices, and fast, efficient work. There are two things I especially like about them. One is that they always try to send the same technician, which means that he is very familiar with our heating and cooling habits, plus he is very familiar with the units. That saves time and money for everyone. In our case, it is Jesse, who is an excellent technician, very good at diagnostics, and honest. That brings me to the second thing I like about them...they are very honest, and that is unusual in their business. Jesse always makes sure that he has the right diagnosis before starting an expensive repair. Another anecdote about Jesse. When we were going to install a new heating unit to replace one that was 15 years old, I was worried about the smell of burn-off of the protection oil used to coat new heat exchangers because my wife is very sensitive to strong chemical vapors. So Jesse offered to take the new unit to his house before installation and run it for a full weekend to burn off the oil (at his own electricity cost, by the way). When they installed it in the house, there was zero new unit smell. How's that for super service.

Clean the inside of the unit out side, look at the attic heating unit said it looked good didn't charge me. He didn't have to do anything but he did put some bleach to run threw the lines. Put 2.5 Freon in unit, ad said Freon came with tune up BUT they didn't say how much Freon came with it I had to pay for 1.5 cans of Freon.

About 7 years ago, in the middle of July, on a Sunday...after calling numerous a/c repair services....we began a most fortunate service relationship with Kleen Air Services.
On the phone, I explained, my frail 80 year old mother lived with me and I desperately needed to have her in a cool place. Within a few short hours Jesse Puente, our technician, arrived. Very professional and very knowledgea ble. He immediately assessed the problem and repaired the outside fan motor---and once again we had cool air! I am sure, in my situation, the charges could have been outrageous, but they were not. He did only what was needed and the charges were very reasonable. I was so impressed with his expertise, and honesty business dealings. From that time we had Jesse come twice each year to Rockwall to check out, service, and maintain our air and heating unit---which I would highly recommend. We moved to Mesquite a couple of years ago. In the beginning of summer, when the the unit stopped cooling,we called for Jesse's help.
The company said they would get him there as soon as possible but it was a super busy day. I prepared Mom for maybe having to move her to a cooler location temporarily as I didn't think she was going to be able to sleep in the hot house.
Jesse knocked on our door at 9pm---he started at 6:30 that morning! He repaired the outdoor fan perfectly --in the dark---with a flashlight. In less than an hour it was cool again.
Jesse is exceptional. What was so impressive was---he didn't have to do it, but he went that extra mile for us. My mom always wants to hug his neck she just loves him. I would say Jesse treats us like he would treat his own family.
I don't think I have every written a recommendation before. But if you are like me and you don't know who to call? do they know what they are doing? are they going to do the job right? are they trustworthy? is the service price fair? will they stand behind their work? Kleen Air Services has consistently exceeded my expectations in every way.

Kleen Air Services was able to quickly identify the issue with the HVAC system, which resulted in a successful warranty report being submitted (and subsequently fixed). Kleen Air Services provided a check on the systems and identified a couple of other items which were corrected (or reported). I called that morning and had a technician at my home within 4-5 hours. The issue that prompted the call was a room that seemed to have issues cooling down. After the technician (Jesse) arrived, he reviewed the HVAC system and advised (very clearly) what the cause of the issue was. He was able to explain what needed to be done, and this information was extremely helpful in the report that I submitted to have this corrected by the original installer. Jesse (technician) was able to identify the problem in a matter of minutes, where the original installer had not done on multiple service calls following us moving into our house. This saved us hundreds of dollars. Jesse has been a technician with Kleen Air for 18 years, and this experience was very evident in his knowledge of the systems, and the professionalism in which he conducted himself. The service went very well, and we signed up for the annual service plan for $250 (for two units). The cost would have been approx. $99.90 for call out and AC check (this would not have included some of the service items carried out by the service agreement). Happy to have had Kleen Air Services come by and looking forward to an ongoing service relationship with them.

I am fortunate to have forged a relationship with Kleen Air Services since 1998. They provide an honest, friendly and professional service at a reasonable price. Not only do I use them for my personal residence, as a Commercial Property Manager I use them on my smaller office, industrial and retail properties as well. I have had some "special" projects that I could not get other mechanical contractors to attend to for me and Kleen Air came to the rescue. I would highly recommend them!
