My vehicle takes synthetic only. Asked if I wanted 0w20, I said no, 5w20 is fine since its summer. Shop hand puts in 5w20.... Regular oil.

Never presented a work order for anything before the work was done.

I notice the issue on the bill and return. The conversation is that I somehow wanted regular oil in my synthetic only vehicle. Then the story changes to "it's semi synthetic anyway".

My position was it'd be fair for me to pay the difference between regular/synthetic, $9. Shop owner insisted on $30 to cover his costs despite this being his employee's mistake.

I said fine, but advised I'd leave a bad review online. He told me to leave, refusing further service or to fix the issue.
