I made a reservation on 3 July 2026 for one night on 8 July 2026 and paid for it online at time of booking. Got an email confirmation. When I arrived at 6:30 pm on the 8th, they told me they had cancelled my reservation earlier that day. When I asked why, they said one of their guests had asked to extend their stay, so they gave them the room I had reserved. I told them since I had reserved a room and paid for it several days previously, they should have held the room for me and told their guest there were no rooms available.
Apparently reservations mean nothing at this hotel.

Low maintenance hotel. The discounted rate for cash pay was great, the front desk refused to give a receipt.
I was disappointed with the service at the front desk. The clerk appeared more focused on her mobile phone than on assisting guests.

This was a one night stay. Had it been longer, we would have found different accommodations.
Pros: room was clean. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Desk clerk refused to give a receipt for our cash deposit. Stated we were on camera, so they would know we deposited with cash. The next issue was the room door. The latch hardware was missing. And the security bolt was only partially attached. Finally, the smoke alarm was covered in plastic. I have pictures, but there doesn't seem to be a place to post them.

I received 5 star service. I had a few unusual situations, and the staff was very helpful.

Also, the hot breakfast was very good.

The broom had everything I needed: Space, kindness, comfort, quiet.

Had a free shuttle to the airport.

Highly recommended.

Comfort Suites is a good place to stay while in Jacksonville and very close to the airport. Although it has room to improve. The lobby/hallways are warm and have a musty smell, it feels like the AC is kept off at all times. The treatment from the receptionist was really nice when we got there at night and then it was the completely opposite the next morning, the morning receptionist was lowkey rude. House keeping tried to walk in even though we had the “please do not disturb” sign on the door. The room was spacious, clean and there wasn’t anything wrong it.

BEAUTIFUL room!! Bed was comfortable, pillows were good. Bathroom was spacious, clean, modern. I don’t give a full 5 star because our room window, the curtains weren’t blackout so the light from outside shone very bright into our room. We had to block the window using the cushions on the couch so we could actually sleep. It was room number 204

I'm giving this place one star because it provided the bare minimum: a clean mattress, a quiet roof over our heads, and a convenient location not too far from the airport. We stayed in one of their accessible bedrooms, and it left much to be desired. If you enjoy camping, you'll love the shower - it was exactly like a camping-style drip where you have to run around to get clean enough. The "comforter" blanket felt more like a paper towel, and the pillows were just lumpy enough to wake us up in the night with neckaches. The free breakfast was fine - microwaved eggs and freezer burnt potatoes on the side. Oh, and if you're needing a first aid kit while you're there, you're out of luck - they're all out of bandaids. This was the straw that broke the camel's back for us. It's a safety issue to not have a stocked first aid kit at all times. Overall, this hotel is lacking in several key factors that made for a less-than-cozy atmosphere and the value didn't feel worth what we paid for.

My last hotel stay on my @TravelingDoulaNCS road trip from New England to FL. Hotel staff were very friendly. Room and bed were comfortable. Shower temp, water pressure, and drainage excellent. Full breakfast options were plentiful.

However, the reason for giving 4 stars was as soon as I walked inside the lobby from the breezy, balmy outdoors, it felt like I walked into a muggy, hot sauna and unfortunately the elevator and hallways were the same temperature. I immediately turned the AC on in my room and stayed very comfortable as long as I was in my room. I was astonished that the temperature hadn't changed in the hallways, elevator, or downstairs breakfast area/lobby the following morning. Felt very uncomfortable sitting while sweating and eating in the breakfast area. For reference, I should've taken a pic to post of the (older) downstairs hallway thermostat which was set in between 75-80.°

First glance hotel looks super clean in a quiet spot just off the intersection. Staff was nice greeted me warmly. The room was clean welcoming and perfect. I would stay here again.

EVERYTHING at this Comfort Suites location was TOP NOTCH!! The staff, the breakfast, the comfortable beds and hot water in shower with GREAT water pressure!! We'd absolutely stay here again!! Complimentary cookies at check-in.

Young front desk lady (forgot her name) on the morning of 12/26 called an Uber for me when her driver wouldn't show up (Dec 26). Didn't have to ask her, waited for a half hour, shuttle didn't show up, young lady called the Uber at the hotel's expense, I got to the airport in a timely manner. All's well that ends well, excellent customer service thanks to the young front desk lady.

Stayed a while back (over 1 years ago) and meant to leave a review...just getting to it now.
We just stayed one night and flew out the next day.
It was great. The room had plenty of space to spread out and was very comfortable. It was close enough to the airport, but also close enough to restaurants. The front desk was accommodating and it was so relaxing I had wished we were vacationing right there at the hotel.

We were going on a cruise out of Jacksonville, so we booked here because of their package - Park & Cruise Hotel Stay, park and cruise thanks to this offer including "complimentary transport to the airport and cruise terminal". This is NOT TRUE. You have to arrange a shuttle with an outside company that charges $10 person 1-way. The hotel is also very musky smelling. We needed to use the sofa bed in our room and we had to go request bedding. We received a scratchy blanket and one sheet only. We were told to use pillows from the other beds. The phones in the room did not work. I did not leave my car at this location either, I didn't feel safe doing so. We decided to park at the port. It is reasonably priced.

I had a great stay at Comfort Suites Airport. The cleanliness was impeccable, with well-maintained rooms and fresh linens. The location was perfect close to downtown and major attractions. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making sure all my needs were met. I would definitely stay here again!

Despite a bit of trepidation based on some really bad recent reviews we stayed here due to an early morning flight schedule. Wow, just who wrote those bad reviews? We experienced a great stay. Everything from the lobby to the bathroom was clean, modern and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, lots of pillows, an easy to adjust room heat/ac without a loud fan all the time. The front desk staff was happy to arrange our very early airport shuttle( they contract it out with a local parking service and it’s available 24 hours.) and the hotel is within minutes of the airport and has several food options close by which is very convenient. We are not in any way related to the hotel management (as a bad reviewer suggested with the good reviews!), we just really were impressed with the hotel and staff!

Booked this to stay overnight for a cruise. Having an earlier than typical check-in (2pm) was nice as a traveler! The guy at the front desk went above and beyond assigning our 2 room as connecting room. Lobby temperature was good. Hallways were typical FL weather feel. We had a king bed connecting to a 2 queen room. Beds were comfy; couch pullout was mediocre. Rooms cooled nicely. Was a decent variety of breakfast for such small area but we only cared for the waffles, juice, milk.

Just off 95, convenient to gas stations (1 walking distance)/food/grocery/shopping, close to airport for picking up, shuttle for airport/car rental/cruise, overnight parking for small additional fee.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and their park and fly option. It’s also close to a number of restaurants.

I worried about the noise but our room was surprisingly quiet. It was also very clean and the shower had good water pressure. The couch and the bed were comfortable and we both had a good night’s sleep. Pillows are small but they worked.

I had reason to call the hotel several times and I was always treated professionally and got answers to my questions. This was really helpful when the airport closed due to the weather. The young man working the desk when we arrived was very personable and helpful as well.

Our shuttles to and from the airport were timely and the drivers were delightful. We enjoyed talking with them during the ride.

The downsides to our stay included a strong smell of pot/cigarettes that was sometimes in the hallway. Fortunately it disbursed quickly and wasn’t in our room. The microwave placement on the fridge seemed unstable and I wouldn’t be comfortable using it. Last, the daily price we were told for the park and fly parking was different when we went to pay. I’d recommend confirming it and paying when checking in.

I recently stayed here and had a pleasant experience. The environment was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, with a cozy bed and a seating area that made it easy to relax. I really appreciated the in-room amenities, especially the coffee maker!

The staff were friendly and welcoming! The complimentary breakfast was pretty good! The location was super convenient for me because it was close to the airport.

First of all, called the hotel for airport pick up which they advertise. Called 5 times no one answered so took an Uber. Front desk worker was not apologetic at all. The hotel is very dark and dreary looking,inside and out. Just obvious no one is taking care of this hotel in the public areas. On a positive note, the room was clean.
I was traveling solo and really did not feel safe in the area. The hotel seemed mostly empty which added to this feeling.
I had read the reviews before I booked and most were good, but after seeing and staying here I really don’t understand why. I couldn’t wait to leave in the morning.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The room was good, well-appointed, and offered a breathtaking view.

The amenities were top-notch, with a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and a fantastic breakfast served in the morning. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore and easy to go cruise as well

1 at best for this so called ‘hotel’.
The lobby smelled, hallways had BAD odors like POT in this supposed non smoking facility.
The room….the ODOR was so bad I had a sore throat in the morning!
Appeared to have ‘dealers’ in parking lot and another roaming the halls…guess this was why the place reeked of pot!
We booked 7 nights, left after 1…the facility looked and felt unsafe!
They put us in the room directly across from elevator with a vending and ice machine outside our door!
The ONLY upside was a remodeled bathroom, with filthy sink, mattress was a 3/10, large spots on carpet, probably where a dog had ‘used’!
Staff was difficult to understand and often missing?
Soft drink choices were Coke, DP r MDew, NO diet anything!
Breakfast… should gone to McD!
Anyone giving this place more than ‘1’ in a review must have breathed the smoke.
In short, would NEVER stay in a Choice property again due to extremely poor C Support!
