Just left the Canadian Tire on Glendale Avenue after having work done on my daughters 2004 Sunfire.
I'd like to say that I was pleased with the level of service and work done to the car. Some points to mention:
The staff were professional in all regards and couteous.
Communication was thorough with everything explained in detail.
The work was done right the first time and exactly as expected. Actually exceeded my expectations.
The price was very reasonable.
Job well done.
Thanks to all involved.

went to get my wheels balanced and an oil change while i was there. They said about an hour. No more than 30 minutes later service manager presents me with a long list of things my car needs for $1000. Power steering flush? He said air filter was "dirty" so I did agree to have that changed.

When I drove away wheels vibrated at the same speeds. I looked, same old rusty wheel weights on my wheels as before.
They did not balance my tires. Just took my money.

Canadian Tire, Fort Erie. Took my 2006 Trailblazer as power steering was bad. Was told it was the Rack leaking and I needed a new one..........then was told tie rods should be replaced too so all the system would be new., and doing it at the same time would save labour .$1500 later and 2 days after I had no power steering. Back to Canadian Tire...........said both lines leaking now. Proceeded to tell me that this often happens with lines when you replace a part and the new system again has full pressure............Well if you knew this then why didn't you mention it when you told me to do tie rods? Now it is back again today for the lines......... $691..... I flipped out and lost my mind in the service centre, asked for Manager of the store and was told they weren't in, call tomorrow. I called and left a message Dana Christie) and my call was not returned. 2 days later I left another message..........finally got the call back and was told these things can't be predicted and that was the price to fix lines. Well ............. if things can't be predicted why did the Service Manager (Casey) and Service Advisor (Kayla) tell me it happens often! I told him it was unacceptable and he finally agreed to $100 off and a free oil change. I asked for no labour on the second round of service but he refused. We shall see what the bill is when I pick it up later today. I am sorry but I still feel ripped off.............. I would advise not using Canadian Tire Fort Erie for anything! Somebody please recommend a good mechanic in Fort Erie

I routinely go to this location for car maintenance and repair, and have found the staff here to be very helpful and honest. Their mechanics have often brought me out to the service bay to explain the reasons for any problems my car was having and they have even provided the occasional small service on my vehicle free of charge. Sorry to hear others have had bad experiences, but I sure can't say that's ever happened to me.

I got to Canadian Tire to Do a quick fix. All that had to be done was having to get the flat tire from my trunk, take the rim off and put it on my spare tire that was also in my trunk and put the spare tire with the rim on it in my truck, Nothing to do with fixxing my car in general. They said it would take a half hr. A 1 1/2 hrs later im sitting in there waiting room, watching a machanic take a pizza break at 230pm and no one informing me about anything. The 3 people helping me were rude, and this process cost me 20$, the lady before me got her tires changed, and because of her wait she got NO CHARGE! So i told the guy that i have been waiting for 1.5 hrs. and he said well we will get to it soon. An 1.5 of what takes 10-15 min and 20$ dollers later, ruined my day.
thx canadian tire
