Dr. Candace is amazing. She is professional and caring, treating her clients with respect and dignity. She is thorough and extremely knowledgable. She listens and does not make clients feel rushed. She made a diagnosis of an issue that most likely saved my life. I can't recommend her enough...and the facility is attractive and the staff is very friendly and professional. This is a great place to come for excellent care.

After visiting three other plastic surgeons who either told me my case was too challenging, said they couldn’t help me, or gave me the runaround, I was starting to lose hope. Meeting Dr. Marvin Spann completely changed that.
Before I even walked into the room, he had already reviewed my medical history and imaging and came in with a well-thought-out plan and multiple options tailored specifically to my situation. That level of preparation alone spoke volumes.
From start to finish, Dr. Spann made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. He was honest, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. Instead of focusing on why something couldn’t be done, he focused on finding the best solution for me.
The entire staff was just as amazing—friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout the visit.
After everything I’ve been through, this appointment gave me hope again. I’m genuinely looking forward to my procedure and finally closing this chapter of my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend Dr. Marvin Spann and his team to anyone looking for a surgeon who truly cares and takes the time to prepare for each patient.

Doctor Pauline Heuser has been absolutely amazing. She’s helped get my skin back on track and got so excited to see my results. Everything she’s done and recommended for me has work immensely. Could not be more thankful for her!! The receptionist all have been so warm and welcoming. They have even helped recommend sunscreen and tinted sunscreen for me! So thankful for them!

I had two consultations at Couture Dermatology and Plastic Surgery, and based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering this practice to proceed with caution.
During my first consultation with Dr. Mitchell Lyons, MD (Board-Eligible Plastic Surgeon), I was told I was a candidate for a breast reduction. I was also told that if I wanted a bilateral mastectomy, I would need a letter from a mental health provider stating I was mentally prepared. These evaluations are expensive, and this requirement was emphasized heavily at the time.
At the end of that same visit, there was initially no plan to take photos of my breasts. After a medical assistant spoke up, Dr. Lyons hesitated and then approved taking photos of both my breasts and face. I was told this was for medical documentation and insurance purposes. However, this was introduced at the very end of the appointment, and I felt cornered and pressured into agreeing.
For my second consultation, I made it clear in advance and again at the appointment that I only wanted a verbal consultation and did not consent to any photos.
Prior to this visit, I spoke with Aleia Cassidy, Practice Administrator, who told me I could receive a second opinion. After that conversation, she became unreachable and stopped taking my calls. I was redirected to her assistant, Gaby (office staff), whose demeanor came across as passive aggressive and unhelpful.
I was told by staff that the photos taken during my first visit would be deleted at my request, and this was confirmed as not being a problem. However, during my second consultation, Dr. Marvin Spann, MD (Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and Co-Owner), stated that the images would be kept indefinitely and stored off-site/cloud-based, which directly contradicted what I had previously been told and raised serious concerns about how patient images are handled and stored—especially given that neither provider is moving forward with the procedure.
In addition, the medical guidance I received was inconsistent. During my first consultation, the focus was on being a candidate for breast reduction and the requirement for a mental health clearance letter if pursuing bilateral mastectomy. During my second consultation, I was told I needed to lose weight to be considered for surgery. When I asked how much weight I needed to lose, I was told to “figure it out myself,” with no specific guidance, explanation, or support.
At no point was I given a clear, consistent plan or path forward. Instead, I received conflicting information, vague requirements, and dismissive communication.
This experience made it difficult to trust the information I was being given or feel confident in the care provided. Patients should expect clear communication, respect for consent, and consistent medical guidance—none of which I experienced here.
I would strongly encourage others to ask very detailed questions about consent, photography, and how patient images are stored and retained before proceeding with care at this practice.
