I did an upgrade with Avis ($6) but it was $6 per day. Not clearly explained by the clerk.

The one that really got me was the re-fill the tank for I think $1.18; not bad when it was $1.26 or so on the street. HOWEVER, it is not for the fuel used; it is for the complete replacement of the tank. So if I had topped up the half tank it would have cost me about half that amount.

Not please and will not use AVIS again.
