Rented Ford flex and battery died overnight without apparent cause. Vacation commitments precluded taking the time to deal with the issue so taxi's were used throughout the day. Following morning called the auto club and started the car. Following start, unable to control radio which was at full blast, signal lights, heat full on so we took it to the nearest dealership which was the one that serviced Avis Ford rental vehicles. The service manager said the car is not driveable and should be returned which we did. Our reception at Avis Dorval was less than friendly, left a lot to be desired and gave me the impression I was at fault for all this. They did exchange for another car but in the process we lost a day and half of the use of the car and a lot of money for taxis. Avis appears unwilling to credit me for the lost day although I intend to pursue the issue.
