1) when you make reservation - they give you price a little cheaper than other rental companies but then... OOPS big surprise, when you return your car - your bill is much higher than quote, they forgot to quote you taxes....
no other rental companies do that
2) second OOPS surprise: Hertz pay comission to their employees from any "damages" they find on your car so they try hard... you will pay "standard extra" $100EU for ... McDonald's sandwich smell in a car if they cant find anything else, tiny fingernail scratch on paint will count as few hundreds of EU in "damages"
3) if you have a dog with you, even medical service dog, you will pay for "special cleaning" over 100EU

I have dealt with this office for four+ years on a ongoing basis. They are efficient and courteous in their dealings and their vehicles are spotlessly clean and in excellent running order. Mike (manager) and Shaun (asst. manager) are experienced in all aspects of this business and take great pride in meeting their responsibilities to their customers. I recommend this location as one of the BEST places that I do business with ANYWHERE. Their prices are competitive... their service is efficient... their Staff is professional! That's what I look for in any business... and at Hertz St.Laurent that's what I get!

My husband and I rented from ST.Laurent Hertz location on our return to Ottawa from overseas. We had OK service from the airport location, however, there is an airport daily tax which adds substantially to the bill over the rental period. We had unhelpful and insensitive service from the central market location, who insisted on renewing that we go home and book the extension on line. Luckily we found the St.Laurent location, which although out-of-the-way for us, turned out to be a good discovery. Clayton and other staff in this location were pleasant, respectful and very helpful and professional. M & R, Ottawa
