Although an avid backyard barbecuer for 20+ years, something changed 9 years ago when I binge-watched season 1 of BBQ Pitmasters. Instantly hooked, I knew eventually I wanted out of the corporate life and into the pit life. Only came close to burning down the deck twice but eventually started to figure out the barbecue thing.
