Moved to Calgary from BC a few months ago and required an out of Province inspection for insurance purposes. Seeing as how my car passed a BC inspection a few months prior I had no concerns.

I took it in to the folks at Avenida Auto and they informed me that my tires were near done, brakes inadequate, and timing belt finished. All in all $2100. I am a recent retiree and have a fixed income, having said that I went for a second opinion at another shop only to find out that my car was 100% roadworthy.

I would not recommend this shop as they appear to be untrustworthy.
