I needed my exhaust changed due to a leak I diagnosed myself. So I took it here and spoke directly with Blair and got a quote for a new 3" exhaust, the instal of my 3" downpipe plus wrapped in titanium heat wrap the entire length of the DP on my speed6. He assured me that his boys knew what they were doing and I could trust them with my car. I would have done this job myself if I had a new exhaust to put in and a hoist. I had neither. So he quoted me for the fabrication of a 3" exhaust and the install. The next day my car was being worked on and he told me they found the leak. Yay!!! I joyfully pick up my car a full day later than he quoted me because it was a hard install Blair said. But I'm late because it's quite a drive on my lunch break and I overlook a few things. I made it home but immediately noticed the exhaust leak was still there. But unfortunately I needed the car to get to Calgary for school the next week. My MAF numbers were wrong, my boost temp was higher, my boost psi was lower....ALL BAD. I get home the following week and decide to inspect the work done on the car.

1) the downpipe was not installed with the correct number of bolts. Missing one that connects the DP to the turbo.
2) the DP was not wrapped with heat tape the entire length like I asked. The top 6" were left open to heat the bottom of my intercooler.
3) the 3" exhaust that they built hangs 2" lower to the ground than the stock one because the two 45degree pipes that were cut in half to make the custom tee, were cut at the wrong angle, effectively making the angle at which it could sit properly, 2" closer to the ground.
4) the 3" exhaust necks down to 2.25" at the exhaust tips. Minor detail but it causes more restriction and I asked for a 3" exhaust the whole way.

All in all, I won't be going back to get more work done, especially after I found out my downpipe was missing a bolt and they didn't wrap my DP the entire way. Those two issues are by far the most important because both of these issues cause codes to come up.

Be safe people. Go somewhere else.
