I got a quote from owner Mike Meyer over the phone for new spark plugs and wires. His was the lowest quote which I recorded. I called him 2 days before my appointment to confirm the parts would be in the shop for my appointment. When I arrived he only then ordered the parts, and ordered Roman, his employee, to do a tune up, although I didn't request one and Mike later charged me for this labour. When all the work was done he charged me way more than the quote he had given me over the phone - denying he had ever given me that the quote I had recorded, screaming and throwing his arms around! It turned out that the parts he ordered at the last minute were more expensive as well as the labour. What a disgrace!. I noticed that he blurts out quotes without recording them and then gives different ones. Is he losing his mind due to his age? Is he just shamefully sloppy? Or is he plain dishonest. I had bad experiences with him in the past, but because of his over the phone estimate I went back to his shop - for the last time yesterday! Roman, his employee, found other parts that "needed to be changed", hopefully honestly, but who knows, since his boss is not honest. NEVER AGAIN in that dishonest place!

I first started using Mike's Auto about 4 or 5 months ago because they were in the neighborhood and I had heard good things about their service.

Mike works on my personal vehicles and I feel that he is honest with me. He tells me what the problem is and shows me as well. Also, I do not feel that I am being gouged in terms of price.

Everything has turned out better than I expected because my vehicle is always ready on time or ahead of schedule. I have not been used to getting my vehicle back when a shop says it will be ready. Mike's is a great place to go.

Mike always remembers who I am and remembers what my car is, even if it is months since I have been there. The only bad thing, and it could be good or bad thing, is that he only does the work you ask for. He won't go farther than what you say, which could be a good or bad thing. It is guaranteed he will never do more than you ask. I have probably been using Mike's Auto for 10 years. He is quick; I usually get the car in and out in a day, and sometimes he will even do work while I wait. The work is excellent. I have never had a problem with the work he has done.

Mike's Auto always provides good, fast service. I have been there twice now for basic maintenance. They did an oil change and tested my car, and they explained everything to me. I really trust Mike's Auto, which is important when you are leaving your car with someone. I know that they will give me all the information I need and keep me updated on the status of everything. I feel very comfortable with them.
