Cliff invented the 'drive-thru' quick oil change concept and in 1976 opened the first Mr. Lube store in Edmonton. Never before had an oil change and lube been so fast, convenient and affordable. By 1984, Mr. Lube had 45 stores across Canada and had initiated its Canadian Franchise Program. I had a great experience for the second year at Mr. lube. Boodie C. and GD also BL gave great professional work and the utmost courtesy.Always polite and NEVER pushy. My car runs smoothly and is very happy after my oil change (and special thanks for replacing my low beam bulbs-which are under warranty still from last fall). I can see again!! Mr.Lube started my day with a coffee and paper, then even oiled my door hinges. Being a female I was glad to see this garage didn't get pushy with lots of extras and are totally professional. Fast and courteous workers and I will DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Mr. Lube to all my family, friends, and co-worker. they get 5 STARS in my book. Thanks again.

The man was very condescending, almost out right rude. Said my tires were over filled, yet the last time my tires were touched was at a Mr. Lube in Nanaimo, but was rude to me and my boyfriend about it, like we had done something wrong. Deflated my tires to the point that my front ones were unsafe to drive on. All together very unhappy with the service.

Mr Lube in Victoria convinced my wife to pay a higher price for a new HEPA filter; such a filter was not installed but rather the conventional filter, and so she returned and got the dollar difference back. Same appointment they replaced windshield wipers; two days later one came off while driving and subsequently, both had to be replaced due to excessive noise and inefficiency. Next, an oil leak due to improper installation of the oil filter. What next?
