I had a craving for Salt Grass wheat bread and butter. We had a wonderful meal of potato soup, Caesar salad, bacon wrapped filet with mash potatoes, baked chicken with a loaded baked potato and broccoli and cheese. Yum! Wonderful, attentive service from Johnny. He was so kind and has a great sense of humor. We will definitely eat here again.

First time here and was definitely worth it Campos our server was attentive even tho it was a busy. Food was very good the steaks were juicy and the bone was coming right off the ribs and those range rattlers shrimp appetizers were delicious worth trying. Will definitely recommend if ur in the area

So I hardly ever do a negative review but I was so taken aback dining here I feel the need to share my experience. First I will say the drink I ordered was delicious. The Lucky Penny. So good. I ordered the sampler platter and was told they could do the jalapeno poppers grilled instead of fried but when they came out they were fried. They were still good but was disappointed in that the waiter didn’t ask if I wanted to change my order. I had my food for about 10 minutes when he came by to ask how everything was and asked if I would be needing a box. I said eventually yes I will. He came right out and wanted to box up my food. I asked if he needed my table and why I wasn’t being allowed to relax and enjoy my food. I saw another table get completely cleaned up while the man was in the restroom. The waitress caught him as he was just wiping the table off. Seemed they weren’t communicating and things were off. The food wasn’t good enough that I would return unfortunately

Great food with a perfect Riverwalk vibe

Saltgrass Steak House really delivers a solid and satisfying experience. The food was genuinely delicious, with everything well-prepared and full of flavor. The steak came perfectly cooked and juicy, and the fried shrimp were crispy and very tasty. The onion strings on the side were a great addition, light and crunchy.

If you can, it’s definitely worth trying to get one of the outdoor tables right by the Riverwalk. It makes a big difference and adds a special touch to the whole meal.

Service was good overall, friendly and efficient. Prices felt fair for the quality and especially for the location. A very good option if you’re in the area and in the mood for a classic Texas-style meal.

Had dinner here while in town to visit friends. Great location on the Riverwalk. Excellent food, generous portions and friendly service. Michelle was terrific. Get the Carrot Cake for dessert. Big enough to share. The Range Rattlers are huge. One per person is all you need for an appetizer. This is a pricier place to eat but was worth it.
