All of our staff have roots in the communities we serve, and we encourage our staff to give back to the community through involvement in the Battlefords' service organizations and non-profits. <p> Typically a client begins a relationship with us through a call into our office to arrange a meeting with one of our lawyers. At the initial meeting, we have a conversation to gain an understanding about your legal situation and what you hope to achieve. <p> We then make a decision as to whether or not Norsasklaw is able to represent you. We will refer you to another law office if we find that we are not able to take your case. If we accept you as a client, we then sign an agreement on the services you want us to perform. After a retainer fee is paid and an agreement is signed which details the terms of our lawyer-client relationship, we begin work on your file. <p> When you have a legal problem, it is not always easy to know exactly what to do or where to turn.
