I don't know what others say here but I have taken my 09 1 series coupe in for oil changes, and other routine maintainence and I have not had any issues as mentioned. They are a first come first serve business, sometimes shorter sometimes longer.

I have used Fanshawe Motors for years for fixing everything from a BMW M3 to a Dodge Ram Diesel truck and there was nothing that Adrian and his crew could not fix. They sometimes had to keep the vehicle overnight to confirm a diagnosis, but unlike the sour reviewer on this reviewing site, I understood the reason and the fact that it was best for getting the right diagnosis and fix. They do not throw parts at your car, hoping for a fix and charging you for multiple attempts. In my experience they get it right the first time. I have recommended Fanshawe to my friends and will continue to do so.

They are slow, disorganized and rude!
They do as little or as much work as they feel like, when they feel like. If you need your car the next day or even the next week, then go somewhere else! they don't care about you or your needs, just take a number and be prepared to walk to work, because you wont have a car for a long long long time!

Pretty harsh words... I've never had any issues. This place is great. The owner has always been upfront with the problems with my car and has always offered several options. I've never felt pressured to do work that I thought was unnecessary either. The work has been very professional and only on a rare occasion did they need to keep my car an extra day. I would never take my car elsewhere if I had the choice.
