Excellent! Highly recommend. Good prices, new vehicles, clean, well maintained, very nice controls to open the sliding back door and pull out ramp (2 clicks of a button). Friendly service, will do business with them again, no doubt.

family owned business that doesn't make you feel like they're trying to take advantage of you. worked with them selling a mobility van. got a fair price and everything was handled quickly and professionally. I look forward to having them perform modifications to my future vehicles!

True Accessibility Champions – A Gem in Pittsburgh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We purchased a 2025 BraunAbility-converted Chrysler Pacifica XT from Keystone Coach Works—and we couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From sales to support, this family-owned business truly goes above and beyond.

Don Shelpman answered every sales question with care, provided a full Carfax report, and even sent detailed walk-through videos to help us explore the features from home. His cousin Ed Shelpman personally visited us to ensure our wheelchair fit properly for a safe, customized setup. He later delivered the vehicle and gave a clear, hands-on demo of every feature—a level of service you just don’t see anymore.

The van itself was a rare find: a gently used BraunAbility Pacifica XT with under 5,000 miles, priced far better than anything comparable in the area. The conversion includes top-tier features like the Wayfinder® lighted ramp, tall entry height, and a robust 1,000 lb capacity—all thoughtfully designed for real-world accessibility.

What sets Keystone apart is their deep-rooted commitment. Don, Ed, and other family members not only run the business—they’ve built a team where employees and their families work side by side. It truly feels like being welcomed into a community.

Thanks to Keystone Coach Works, our family now has the freedom to attend school, church, extracurriculars, appointments, visit loved ones, and take trips together. And if we ever need support, they’ve assured us they’re available any time, day or night.

If you’re looking for a trusted partner in mobility, look no further. Keystone is Pittsburgh proud and accessibility focused—since 1979 and still leading the way.

My family and I have been customers of Keystone since 2015. My dad was a Vietnam vet and lost both his legs due to agent orange that caught up to him decades later. They were looking for a van because we were told about his entitlement (I use that word strictly in context to his situation - vets like he earned their right to mobility). We heard of Keystone through some networking. It was our first adapted van so we had a lot of questions and concerns. The VA was covering the cost of Braun modifications. Keystone guided us through the paperwork and process. That part went quickly and smoothly with Don and the help of his staff. We had a few weeks to let things brew and pass. Six weeks to the day we began the process with Keystone Don delivered the van to our house as I was waiting outside with my dad. He said he was like a kid again. It was more than a pleasure working with Keystone in 2015 and it’s still more than a pleasure working with them to this day. I was in New Hampshire with a busted seat on a Sunday night, I called Don, he called me right back in three minutes. He made some suggestions and went over my options. Long-short, I drove home 10 hours with a static beep in my ear from a broken wire. I got home, took it to Keystone the next day, and it was fixed. Don, Terry, and Ed give some of the most superb customer service I’ve ever experienced at any business in my life. I have a spinal cord injury. They are very accommodating to my disability, considerate, and accommodating. They have personal experience with individuals with disabilities. They’re worthy of your trust. Trust me. I’m coming up in a decade of dedication.

Having purchased three vans from another dealer, I was prepared to buy our 4th van from them as well. However, after disagreeing on the value of the van being traded, I decided to reach out to Keystone Coach Works. And I am really glad I did! They were wonderful to work with. First - they confirmed that the van being traded still had value, and gave me a fair trade towards the purchase of our "new" used van. This made a huge difference in my ability to purchase the van. Second - they were EXTREMELY patient while we waited for my son's funding to come through (which took over six months). The staff is caring and worked hard to address all of our needs. A special thanks to Ed for his excellent work on installing the EZ lock, as well as to the rest of the team - Don, Linda and Terri -- for supporting me and my son through this process.
