Dr. Elwood knows that many people are fearful about treatments. Some dentists have forgotten about these very real concerns, but not Dr. Elwood. That is why he uses a technique called "iatro sedation" (doctor induced sedation). This puts you, the patient, in control. If you need to stop, he stops. If you need more anesthesia, you can have it, and there is no nitrous oxide if you desire it. These and other special calming techniques allow many of Dr. Elwood's patients to say their visit was actually enjoyable.
