I brought in a 2008 infiniti fx35 that had an exhaust leak at the rear flange. The car was promptly brought into the service bay. The "technician" searched extensively for other leaks even though we both chuckled earlier that the only part on this exhaust system that was not stainless was the flange. No doubt looking for more work. He repeated several times how expensive the components are on the car, but I reminded him we were only talking about the flange. He asked me how I wanted it fixed?! He didn't even offer alternatives! Imagine! He offered only the repair of cutting out the flange and replacing the pipe without even addressing the more costly flange adapter remedy. He quoted $200-$250 and we know where the final invoice would have been. I then took it to another shop that quoted $50 for the flange and an hour or less labour. $150 max. Stay clear of this shop!

Told me it was 160 to weld on a 6in pipe to my muffler.. Ended up paying 150. It took 45 minutes because they were talking half the time. Job should have costed 50 max. If you know nothing about cars I would avoid going here

Speedy in Newmarket over charges, does cheap jobs to fix the problem, and has no respect for being honest to customers. If you don't know much about cars, you may never know until it's too late because the owner is the exact mechanic who will have no problem taking your money, doing a cheap and terrible job, and then making you pay to go somewhere else to get it fixed properly.

the staff at the speedy muffler on yonge st in newmarket were unbelievable!!! they showed me what was wrong with my exhaust,I don't know much about cars but I could see the problem. They drove me to work and picked me up when my car was done. I thought that service like this should be shared.
