Although the length of time Mark needed to get to my fence staining was longer than I wanted (his company was very busy in the fall), I received no other estimates in the meantime. I'm very glad he was able to accommodate me (and didn't forget about me!), and his coworker did a good job in just 2 hours. I'm not sure about the cost, but I have a feeling it's in line with the going rate.

Bluestar Construction has touched almost every area of my home over the past five years with large projects and small including basement remodel, kitchen remodel, new flooring throughout, concrete porch removal and repour, HVAC, deck rebuild and stain, replacing a storm door and caulking a tub among others. Mark is my go-to contractor because he is trustworthy and stands behind the work his firm does. He genuinely wants his customers to be satisfied. I would and have recommended him highly!

I have used Blue Star Construction for several jobs at my home and have always been pleased with their work. They go about the job in a professional manner and I was impressed by the way they cleaned up the area before leaving for the day, even if they had to return to finish the job. Blue Star Construction did some work in our master bath, replacing the shower tile, fixture and painting the entire room. The job was done very well. My wife and I were pleased with the work and time it took to complete the project.

Job well done. I have had my master bath redone (marble shower, sink, counter and tub, new floor, toilet and painting), new windows in front of home, new hardwood floor in Dining Room, Living Room and front bedroom, new back door and painting of family room-hall-kitchen-bathroom-bedroom. Also new gutters with gutter guards. Work was done in a timely manner, professional, cleaned up during and upon completion, doublechecked everything to be sure work was completed. Would highly recommend their work.

I contacted Blue Star to install outside lights on my home. They were recommended by a friend. I was impressed by their professionalism, getting the job done, solving another problem, and offering a suggestion to repair a problem with a newly built garden shed. They installed shelving in the shed and did it all with a good attitude and took everything away. Great clean up! So impressed I am having them do an entire and extensive kitchen remodel. They have experience and a great follow-up.

Mark is extremely responsive, courteous to all of our family and professional in all of his dealings with us. We plan on continuing to use him for our projects, both big and small. This job turned out to be even more difficult to jack hammer the entire patio that was even more deep than what the normal size should be. It took over 2 days to break up and haul away. We told them what we wanted and they did an outstanding job. Our deck was made of cedar and looks so nice when completed. They did all of this work non stop during the severe heat in July and August. Each time I made some changes, he complied with my wishes and never complained. He made sure I was a satisfied customer.Mark is a very honest individual. I trusted all of them explicitly. They were very professional and dedicated. They cleaned up each time they left the house. I could trust them to come and go and did not worry that I could leave as I knew it was in good hands. I even had some of our neighbors came to look at it and they were all very pleased. Thanks, Mark, it is so nice to sit out in my new deck!!

Mark (Blue Star Construction Group) is a highly skilled craftsman and general contractor who knows the details such as carpentry all the way to managing a large project with several contractors like electricians, painters, etc. Mark has done several projects for us, all of which have been done with high quality and the utmost professionalism. These projects include fixing a roof leak, helping us select a new sliding glass door and installation, and power washing our house. Mark took the time up front to clearly understand what we wanted, outlining the advantages and disadvantages of various approaches, but in the end wanting to make sure that we would be happy. Mark is very personable and best of all we trust him completely. We have recommended Mark to friends and family, and all feedback we have heard has been positive. We highly recommend Mark for all your home repair, maintenance, and improvement needs.
