I prefer Marcel's Bakery over all the Filipino bakeries I tried. Their pan de ube or kalihim, sweet pan de sal, special mamon, and ensaimada are my favorites. The staffs are friendly and courteous. They are considerate too,one time instead of giving me pan de ube( which I ordered) they gave me pan de mongo. After a few days, I complained about it and the daughter's owner politely refunded what I paid. Keep up the good work!

The breads and pastries are very good. I prefer Marcel's over any other Filipino bakery in the city. However, in the last while, it seems as if they have sacrificed their service and portions. The staff could be a little more friendly; and if their pandesal get any smaller, they'd be bite-sized.
