i've been buying cakes here for the past few years and they've always been delicious; the only downside was the owner, Alla. I've never met a more vile human being in my life.

I've noticed a few new employees the last few times i went to get a cake, and finally decided to ask why service has become as great as the cakes. It turns out that a lady named Marina has bought out the bakery and kept all of the great cakes/pastries and actually understands customer service.

i cant speak for the reviews below me, but they should pay a visit to the bakery again and see how a great family runs the business.

We have been buying there cakes for many years now, what an amazing place they are the highest quality cakes and pastries in the city... and now we found out they have free delivery and an online ordering website www.dessertdelivered.ca we just tried it for the first time and it works amazing ...

To put it mildly, TERRIBLE!!! We ordered a cake for our daughter's 1 month and it was hideous! It looked like an amateur made the cake, not a professional we paid! The fondant was mixed and gave the cake a marble look to it which was not consistent across the cake. The cake design was not the one we agreed to and when we called to complain, she yelled back at us and hung up the phone! I wish I could put up the pictures of the cake so all can see at the poor quality.

I am getting married this summer, and I called the store to enquire about a price range for a wedding cake for 250 people. Unfortunately for me, this is the first place I called. An extremely rude lady answered the phone and said loudly "How can you expect a price without coming in, our cakes are custom made!" and then I said...Okay?? and then she hung up on me. A simple please come in for a consultation would have sufficed. Either way, I have never in my life been treated in such a disgusting manner for simply asking a question. 6 of my close friends are getting married this summer as well, and I will ensure that they learn of my experience.

My advice to you is...Customer Service should become a priority for you, and bad word of mouth can be very harmful to a business.
