I have never experienced such rude customer service in my life when I went into this little bakery today. Not only does the owner not honor her business hours and changes them at her whim, she is very rude to her customers. The store was supposed to be open at 10:30am so when it was past time I knocked on the door and an employee let me in and let me know that the owner was not there just yet. When the owner did arrive a while later, the first thing she said to me was "how did you get in here", no hello or how are you. I stated that these last minute changes in her business hours make it difficult to access her shop, and her answer was " oh well, I can't be in ten thousand places at one". Very rude, I won't recommend or ever go back there again.

Debbie has been making cakes for us for 6 years - 3 birthday cakes a year, plus baby showers, christenings, and anniversaries. She has never let us down, and her creativity is beyond compare. Her store smells so good when you go in to see her that it is a form of aromatherapy. Her cookies are also delicious. She is community-minded, and I would recommend her to anyone. /Elaine B

This is the second year we've ordered a birthday cake for our son - last year was 'Pokemon' and this year was 'Outer Space'. Both year's cakes have been of an outstanding quality. Far better quality than those you'd find in the grocery stores.

Lots of people commented on how delicious the cake was - we've had chocolate cake with chocolate icing each time since that's my son's favourite, but there are lots of other options.

We will definitely order from Simply Sweet again. Fantastic!

Debbie made me a 10 inch round cake totally customized for my small wedding. Cakes are usually 3 layers per tier.
That would be too big for the party of 46 at my wedding so instead she made me a 2 layer 10 inch with a couple dozen cupcakes. We still had leftovers but at least we could take them home and freeze them without them going stale. SO beautiful so yummy. She even did an ivy design to match my flowers greenery and we topped it with a poof of flowers from Flowers with Prestige.

Tasted as good as it looks!

She also made the cake for my bridal shower which was also super delicious!

Definitely going back for any of my bakery needs.

PS also makes the most AMAZING cookies try the shortbread and candied ginger if you have a chance.
