Friendly and knowledgeable staff, helped me with getting the right ingredients for making pizza including fresh dough. The staff at this bakery are incredible! The deli and cheese selection is fantastic, they have many of their own branded sauces which are great for DIY pasta and pizza. This has become our go to Italian place in neighbourhood

Tre Mari is a wonderful old-school Italian bakery and grocery store that has been around since 1960. I came for the traditional cannoli and loved how different they were from the small, delicate versions I’ve had at fine-dining restaurants.

The classic Ricotta was creamy, lightly sweet and not heavy. Espresso & Sambuca was even better, with intense coffee and liqueur aromas while somehow tasting refreshing. My favorite was the Sfoglia: crisp, airy pastry filled with sweet vanilla cream that melts into all those flaky layers.

Small cannoli are $3 and large ones $4. I’d recommend the small—the large can feel a little filling-heavy. A lovely place to experience a piece of Corso Italia’s history.

No credit card surcharge. Clean facility and dining area. Clean washrooms. Patio available.

Prices are high for baked goods. No free WiFi.

We live nearby and visit the bakery a lot, hot food is always great, fresh bead is always great, deli meats are always sliced super thin, wonderful spot!

We ordered a full slab lemon sheet cake and a small chocolate cake for our wedding and were so happy with them, they looked amazing, tasted great and were at an amazing price point compared to any other bakeries we found around the city. We had a great time sampling 6 different flavours beforehand and loved them all. Our guests loved the lemon cake and there wasn't any left for us to take home lol. For the smaller chocolate cake we used for photos, we asked them to combine their Vintage Charm cake with the White Roses/Baby's Breath florals they have on other cakes and they did that no problem.

We ordered the jumbo cannoli for a birthday celebration and it was a huge hit.
Everyone absolutely loved it and kept going back for more. It made the birthday extra special and we would definitely order it again for another celebration.

We had the pleasure of working with Tre Mari Bakery for our wedding, and could not be happier with their catering services. Firstly, my family has been eating at the bakery for over 4 decades. The food and the bakery itself are authentic Italian, fresh and always tasty. Secondly, I worked closely with Alessandro for my wedding, who was very accommodating, responsive and professional. He helped me customize a delicious, Italian buffet menu, including appetizers, dinner, desert, coffee, tea and 2 wedding cakes. We needed two separate deliveries to ensure everything was hot, fresh and set up at the right time, and he was very accommodating in facilitating that for us. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous, service was excellent, and food was delicious! Not to mention, our two wedding cakes were beautiful, so yummy and exactly what I had envisioned. Thank you so much to Alessandro, and the team and Tre Mari Bakery for bringing our wedding food dreams to life! We will keep coming back, as we have been, for many decades and generations to come. First time trying Tre Mari Bakery during my lunch break and it was a great experience.
Ali provided amazing service! He was very friendly, answered all my questions, and helped me choose the best option.

I ordered the eggplant lasagna with a side salad and it was absolutely delicious. It honestly tasted just like homemade food, fresh, and full of flavour.

Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend!

Even if my tongue sticks to a metal pole outside, I'd still readily devour this divine gelato, which hits all the right notes. The texture is like a milky, velvety cloud, with a texture that dissolves effortlessly to distribute the nutty pistachio or tangy peach flavours. When I saw these golden shells of delight piped with a creamy ricotta filling, I was skeptical, as they were premade. To my surprise, the exterior crisped away like it was fresh, as my teeth sank into the smooth and decadent filling. Their hot bar doesn't skimp on variety, and I opted for the classic, comforting lasagna, with alternating layers of soft pasta sheets, ricotta, meat and tomato sauce.

Very good apple cinnamon croissant.

Their online ordering system isn't accurate. You can order one item and they won't actually have it and will try and substitute something else when you arrive. Probably just a mistake, but a bit annoying. They refunded the whole order.

I was very excited to introduce this bakery to my son who wanted to buy me the perfect birthday cake. While the taste was good, the appearance seemed really weird. It was grey blue and made me wonder if they had made an error in their icing. A strawberry cake should have one icing, no ? It just didn’t seem right and didn’t make for great pics or aesthetics. Was disappointed even though I tell everyone about this bakery and have ordered cakes more than once. Wonder what went wrong ? Also really felt like they skimped on the strawberries on the top of the cake. 3 strawberries, really ? If I hadn’t sent my kid who is 22 and picked up myself, I definitely would have remarked on all this ! What a bust.

The cake I received from you was absolutely beautiful and ended up being a highlight of the night. It was delicious, worth the drive, and something everyone kept talking about. Tre Mari Bakery is one of those timeless Toronto spots that never disappoints. The space itself is adorable — warm, lively, and full of that old-school Italian charm. They have everything: freshly baked bread, deli meats, hot food, pastries, and of course, the cannoli.

I ordered the cannoli party box and loved how varied and well-balanced the flavours were. The vanilla was silky and custard-like, the hazelnut and pistachio were rich and nutty, and the classic ricotta was light and not overly sweet — just perfect.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and you can tell the bakery takes pride in its quality and tradition. It’s a great spot to grab lunch, pick up some treats for home, or order a box for a gathering. Definitely one of my favourite bakeries in Toronto!
