Best Patties in Toronto. Have tried a few different places and nothing compares to their patties. Pastry is so flaky and delicious and you cant beat their prices.
Be nice if they had a little more space inside to enjoy their delicious patties and they need a bigger parking lot

Amazing patties! I love the spicy beef patties. I would go as far as to say that this place has the best beef patties I have tried so far.
They could definitely improve on their jerk chicken with rice and peas, as the rice is pretty bland and the overall flavours are lacking quite a bit.

This place also needs to work on its parking situation asap. The front of the store only has 6 or 7 parking spots, and trying to park during busy times is a real hassle. Pulling out onto the main road when traffic is heavy is extremelyy dangerous because your car will roll backward since the hill is so steep. It's just not a safe situation.

Overall, the patties are amazing and the prices are super affordable. I hope the do something about the parking situation as soon as possible!!!!!!

Usually, I get the staple, a spicy beef patty. Delicious and meaty, with a price hard to beat. The only thing it gets beat by is hot sauce, really; they don’t have one, sadly. But its patties are absolutely fantastic.

Though for the first time, I tried something else, the Jerk Chicken Sandwich, it was definitely great. Loads of meat, and very filling. If you haven’t tried it before, definitely give it a go!

Food was incredible, parking can be tricky out front, I didnt try the parking behind the building, but who cares the food was so delicious. Had some crushed scotch bonnet on the side but it wasn't spicy...I think they were trying to protect me by giving me the young green ones, or maybe they mixed it with crushed green peppers? 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️ Food was amazing though, patties are also amazing, definitely going back!!!

Fresh patties made right on-site — absolutely the highlight. They’re hot, flaky, and really delicious. The rest of the menu items are decent but nothing exceptional, and a few weren’t good at all. Still, I’d go back mainly for those amazing patties!

I’ve heard a lot of hype about this place, but I think the excitement got to me, and my expectations were too high. The patties were good. nice and flaky, but the filling was a bit lacking. The service, however, was excellent. Still on my top 3!

Patties are decent/good, which should be since they are well known and mass produced. Ordered the Jerk Chicken large meal rice and peas coleslaw, straight garbage.

Someone previously stated that the staff are lost, and I second that at times. During this occurrence, this particular staff member had the audacity to raise his finger as I was talking to him, so he can check if Jerk Chicken on rice and peas with coleslaw was still available since I went near store closing time. Got the order no coleslaw, another lost employee couldn't answer why I was told I would get a full order and ended up with no coleslaw. It's like ordering a combo and not getting fries at McDonald's, but you paid for a combo. That said life's too short to argue over coleslaw.

Rice and peas was dry with no flavor. Seems like it was just rice cooked in a rice cooker with water and a hand full of beans. No flavor, and as mentioned dry. The skinless chicken thigh pieces were off-putting, far from being considered jerk in any way. The pieces tasted weird, looks like it was cooked then doused with a sauce. Only redeeming factor was the hot ketchup they had at the counter, which I unfortunately didn't put enough of.

For patties, fresh or frozen this place is good. Judging by this experience think I will only stick to that, and would not recommend their Jerk Chicken meal or anything else.

Patty King - The Authentic Taste of Jamaica in Scarborough
If you're searching for an authentic Jamaican patty experience in Scarborough, look no further than Patty King. This establishment truly stands out as the "real OG" when it comes to capturing the genuine flavors of Jamaican patties and their perfect companion, coco bread (also known as folding bread).

While Patty King offers a wider range of Jamaican cuisine, my visits are consistently driven by their exceptional patties. There's no need to ask friends or relatives in Jamaica to send you a taste of home; Patty King delivers the real deal right here.

A fantastic perk for regulars is their offering of frozen "seconds" – slightly imperfect but equally delicious patties – sold in packs of 12 for a very decent price. Whenever I go to stock up on these, I can never resist grabbing a spicy beef patty and coco bread, paired with a can of coke, all for less than $5. It's an unbeatable combination and a true testament to their value and quality.

Their patty selection includes beef (available in spicy or mild), chicken, and vegetable. Do note that the vegetable patty, while delicious, is not a vegetarian meal.

Patty King is a must-visit for anyone craving truly authentic Jamaican patties.

Came in just for a dozen patties but thought I would try the oxtail and rice peas while I’m here . I have to say they gave more oxtail than any other Jamaican food place I’ve been to. Great portions and was very flavourful. Will definitely come back for more .

Been coming here for years and I don’t know if they’ve recently changed their portion size… and workers seems lost ….

I ordered stew chicken with rice and peas with extra coleslaw on side for $2/3. Got home and I don’t know why my chicken was one the side and gravy spilled everywhere… I called them to ask why isn’t there any Coleslaw on my rice and she said she put it on side along with the order I paid for. I said no, because I paid extra for it and that’s not how it works. Told her It’s not my first time ordering here.

Extremely busy during lunch hour. Lots of fresh hot fresh Patties made on site.
Clean and delicious, flake and light.
Tons of menu items to choose from.
Not a lot of on-site parking.
Would definitely return to try a different menu item.

The best Jamaican Patties!! Had them cater for an event and everyone absolutely loved them! Ordered a selection of beef and vegetable patties and they were both so delicious. The customer service experience was so great too. This is definitely the go-to Patty spot in the city! Will for sure be ordering again soon!

Walk in store at the front of their production facility. On the south side of Progress Avenue west of Brimley Road. The only problem is congested, limited parking at the front. There is overflow parking at the rear. Can be difficult to access at times due to its popularity.
The food is terrific. You can get fresh patties (Mild and Spicy Beef, Chicken, and vegetable) $1.33 each or 6 for $7. Seconds (frozen) are $7 per dozen.
They have diversified their lunch menu and have a lot of other foods available. Friendly staff,
Well worth a stop.
