I had what could have been a stressful experience at My Storage today. I had lost my key and was unable to access my unit . I decided to visit the office during the day to see what their policy on this type of thing was. Aryan couldn’t have been more helpful. I couldn’t remember my unit number ( or key), but she found my unit’s location and brought out some tools to get the door open right away with a smile.
She helped me trouble shoot getting the lock open and went back and forth getting idems to get the lock open.
It must have been a headache but she never let on.
This is the storage site for me , they look after you . In fact I have never had a problem in any of my interactions with staff there.

We have had a wonderful experience with Brad the last few weeks after the sudden passing of a family member who has had a unit at the sutton, Ontario location for over a year now. Thank you Brad for the welcoming manner and going above and beyond with the moveout process!

I have had a wonderful experience for past few months at the Sutton, Ontario location, since I moved to the area! Brad has been super helpful, very knowledgeable and a wonderdul conversationalist! Well mannered, he is a great asset to your company, he goes above and beyond. Your facility is also very well kept. Stocked with water, coffee, chocolates all the time for customers. Everyone I have spoken to at my storage has been incredibly friendly. The customer service is excellent. Brad especially has been amazing! Friendly, knows what he's talking about. Overall, getting the storage unit has been a positive experience and I would recommend this place for all your storage needs!

Brad was the first person who served me onsite and he was most helpful, honest, polite and eager to serve me. More than that, after a few months of renting a unit Brad has been 100% consistent in everything concerning my doing business with My Storage.
Brad (on site staff) is the same person each time we spoke (very consistent) - which is what I look for in business.
I never used this company before, but when I called the main number I was very pleased to speak with Stefanie (sp?) as she was also very positive and helpful.
I fully recommend using My Storage based on the quality of service, communication, being helpful and of course everyone has always been polite.
I mean what else would someone want when they do business with a company for the first time.
I 100% recommend My Storage to everyone!!!

I have removed my belongings before Christmas 2024 and informed them of this and have proof this is now end of Jan 2025 they are still charging me for the unit saying I haven't given them notice . If have proof that I told them I would no longer need the unit and have proof with email . They continue to charge me and threaten that my belongings would be put up for auction. Even though it's empty and threating me to report to my credit report .I find this to be very bad business practice and unfair to a person who is disabled and have limited income . Also they over charged me for month of December. As there paty online did not work and after many emails and phone calls they finally. Contacted me . But was not available to take call . Eventually got a hold of someone at head office and was able to pay online . Stay away from these people they take advantage of people I'm not at all happy and would give them a minus 10 star rating

Good prices for the size, atleast when I started renting. Starting prices now are probably higher. The staff are very pleasant when you call. My only negative is that it seems more than once a year the rental amount goes up. It's in the middle of nowhere so I question why costs are going up since there's no extra value to customers. And the only other thing that was disappointing when I first rented the sign outside said 1st mth free but they wouldn't honor it.

We set up an additional unit with Kaleb and he was very helpful. He arranged our truck rental and repairs to the door on our unit, which were completed by move it date :) We also dealt with Daniel, who was also very helpful and accomodating when we picked up and dropped off the truck. Kuddo's to their on-site staff. They made the experiance great!

Horrible. We loaded our van full of heavy moving boxes and drove to this location after seeing it was open online just to find out that they were closed. It said it was open but clearly was not. We called and called but was put on hold no one answered and there was no indication that they were closed. Next time remember to change your hours. Extremely disappointed.

So... The place is large and well laid out, with good security in place, and decent rates but... We've been on a waiting list for over a year for a smaller unit after we were told an electricity fee was going to be added to our invoice even though we don't use it and weren't told we had an outlet.

Last year, there was a $45+tax/month charge added to our invoice for electricity (plus the annual increase). My spouse told them we didn't even know we had an electrical outlet because we were asked at sign-up if we wanted one and we said 'no'. We checked the unit, and yes, there's an outlet... that we've never used (there's literally spider webs over it). So we emailed back and said that we haven't ever used it and were told "everybody says that, that's why we're adding a fee across the board." We asked if a smaller unit was available, WITHOUT electricity, and were told that we could be put on a waitlist for one. We agreed to be added to this list, but we haven't heard anything about potentially open units.

I'm just very confused by a couple things: the large addition added to the main building, and maintenance to asphalt (definitely needed in places), but no individual electricity metering in the units like other storage places have; and why we haven't been contacted about a smaller unit. We've seen smaller units get cleaned out and presumably become available to rent, and after a year, you'd think we were getting to the top of the waitlist for one.
