My roof was completed by Gentry Flat Roofing in 2016 by the previous owners. The previous owners left me the contract. It says: 10 year guarantee and transferable. A small section of shingles came off . I called Gentry, I was given a number & told to text and leave my information. I text & called numerous times and they never returned my calls or text over the course of a month. I will never use or recommend this company. Their customer service is DISAPPOINTING.

I leave my comment on the interaction with the Gentry Ltd. Company. The roof of my house was leaking. According to the documents from the previous owner and discovered that the roof was replaced 4 years ago and is currently under warranty. In the morning I called and left a message about the leak. Then I read the comments and was horrified at the prospect. In the evening, the owner of the company called me back and accepted my order. The next day a technician came and fixed everything. As stipulated in the warranty document, repairs are at the expense of the company. So, not everything is as scary as in the previous comments. Do not use this company. they should be very ashamed of themselves for not finishing my roof. I have contacted them several times over the past few years and they won't return any calls. Don't just take my word for it, just read the reviews, all reviews and not just google. They try to come across as a professional company and they respond to google complaints with a generic response letting the complainant know that they will fix the problem, but they never will contact you to make the situation right. Anyone who attempts to use this company after the poor reviews and the warnings, deserve what they get.

Absolutely stay away from Gentry. They installed a TPO roofing system for me and less than 1 year later it's leaking everywhere. The owner feels that for some reason it's the customers fault the roof was never installed properly. Now 3 years later, we need to have the roof replaced. Gave this guy ample opportunity to make it right and they just ignore our phone calls, text messages and email. I also find it cute that the owner Darren Peters left himself a nice review on here. I can only assume the other nice review by Logan Peters, must be related.

If anyone would like to know more, I'd be happy to share the hundreds of photos and information on this nightmarish experience. Do yourself a favor and avoid using Gentry for anything.

Update: Less than 24 hours after leaving this review, the owner Daren Peters called me. Asked if I wanted him to send a couple of guys, I declined the offer as I have now hired another contractor. What a joke! Apparently we didn't pay enough money for the warranty that is stated on the quote and the invoice. 20 years on workmanship and materials. Hiring these guys has probably been one of the biggest mistakes I've made in my life. Cost our company $50,000 and a lot of headache.

Our house lost a bunch of shingles during the recent wind storm. We had originally used Gentry to install the shingles about 8 years ago. Without any hesitation they were able to find our matching shingles and had the repairs done within 48 hours of the storm. Unbelievable Service and they did this repair at no cost. I would highly recommend Gentry as they have great customer service and workmanship.
