All of the physicians have completed at least four years of special training after medical school and take courses regularly to keep up with the latest advances in women's care. <p> In addition to standard specialty care in obstetrics and gynecology, we offer evaluation and management of… All of the physicians have completed at least four years of special training after medical school and take courses regularly to keep up with the latest advances in women's care. <p> In addition to standard specialty care in obstetrics and gynecology, we offer evaluation and management of infertility, female incontinence, menopausal management, laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, high risk obstetrics, mammography, and advanced ultrasonography including 3D/4D Ultrasounds. <p> Laura grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to Texas to attend Baylor University for her undergraduate degree. Her passion for women's healthcare and obstetrics grew as she began her career working as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She then returned to Baylor to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nurse-Midwifery. Laura believes that healthcare should be a partnership between the woman and her provider in order to attend to each patient's unique health needs. She believes in supporting choice during pregnancy and childbirth, and places an emphasis on patient education. <p> Outside of work, Laura appreciates spending time with her two horses Everest and Stella, and has recently begun to compete in barrel racing.
