I am a professional event photographer. My company worked at GRAND BACCUS at the 2012-13 New Years Gala.
From beginning to end we were treated with care, dignity, respect, and friendliness throughout our time at GRAND BACCUS by all the staff and managers.
I worked at many banquette halls as a Professional Eent Photographer, this this experience I will treasure for a long time.
I felt like family.
I will recommend this hall to anyone I know. It is big, beautiful and elegant and the staff are top rated.

Grand Baccus threw an amazing Christmas party this year. I was blown away by the food (hot, presented nicely) and the management and staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be rebooking again for next year.

Our event was a hit, lots of compliments from guests. Rocio and Nicole were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process and made everything SO easy on us. They are both definitely HUGE assets to Grand Baccus. Beautiful set up of dinner and the receiving table!!

The worst experience ever...they misquoted us...and then one week before the event tried to charge us an additional $3000+.
The day of, they:
changed the whole setup, reduced the bar, got the technician to do less work, gave us fewer servers..made us leave early...called the cops (at a very happy event,there was no trouble)

Wow, what a total 180 to my story! This Banquet Hall was my saving grace. Right from day one when I stumbled upon this beautiful venue, I was in love. The staff, right from the attendant in the bridal suite to the management where friendly, helpful and very professional. Being young and newly engaged, the staff made making tough decisions a snap. They are very knowledgeable in all aspects of how to co-ordinate weddings and if they didn't supply something, they had someone at their fingertips who did! Our party was flawless. The hall itself was wonderfully decorated, the food was amazing, the service outstanding. I would and have recommended this venue to friends, family & co-workers. As to your experience, it sounds like you are not telling the whole story. In my experience, police are not called unless there is illegal or criminal behaviour going on. I would certainly like to hear Grand Baccus's side on this! My new husband and I look forward to many more weddings here.

You know what...you're right...our experience was great with all the prep work...EXCEPT for the week before the wedding, when the assistant tried to charge us extra becuase SHE had made a mistake with the orginal quote. And becuase of HER MISTAKE, she decided to assist with the reception, and she caused all the PROBLEMS. The fact that she made our decorator change the agreed upon stage set up an hour before the wedding says how much she cared about our day!! She made a mistake and made us suffer. Restricting liquor and then kicking us out an hour early (and then calling the cops as we wait OUTSIDE for our limo to arrive one hour later) was the kicker.

You know I really am sorry you had a bad experience. Sounds like something really went wrong that day. My decorater was there first thing in the morning and everything was set up. I can't believe it wasn't the same for you. Were you in the big hall or a smaller one? How could they move the stage an hour before your reception? I hope you are happy in your new life.

Grand Baccus is a top candidate for my fiance's and my reception venue. I am hesitant because another wedding will be going on right next door and the two rooms will only divided by a partition wall, so I'm am worried about noise travel during speeches, etc. When we went for the tour we found the receptionist to be very friendly but the girl who did our tour did not know a lot about the venue. For example, I asked her what the name "Grand Baccus" meant and she replied that she didn't know because it's an Italian thing. To me, that response is unprofessional. I would say, "I'm not sure but I'll find out" sort of thing. Reading "MyThoughts" comments on their experience has made me nervous about booking with them since it is one of the most important days of our lives and I want it to go smoothly... I'm so confused!
