Unfortunately I had to attend two weddings from May onward. I will make this review short. The steak overcooked (for everyone) my father was lucky I guess and got a medium rare one. The chicken breast overcooked, very very dry, maybe a table spoon or more of unnecessary spices (I was a chef for a few years at Four Seasons when I was in undergrad doing my accounting degree). The Balsamic vinaigrette salad...soaked. Worst part is, when the wedding party was doing their speeches especially the Bride and Groom, I could hear what sounded to me like an old woman yelling at kitchen staff frequently? Very abusive and rude to the staff, distracting to the wedding speeches.


To be honest I didn't eat the food my girlfriend and I went across the street to Harveys. I would not recommend wasting money on a wedding here, there are other venues, especially ones not across from an Asian Legends, Harvey's, or Swiss Chalet. Unless you are into having franchises in the background of your wedding photos.

Sorry Spirale aka Parkview Manor in a couple of months (or maybe delayed yet again by a year)but I will not be attending any weddings in the near future, I will make sure I am out of the country for business.

I attended a wedding at Spirale banquet hall in June 2009 and was very disappointed with the food. It was cold and our steak was overcooked and chewy. When I complained the chef Vittorio came out to talk to me and instead of appoligizing was very rude! He would not listen to me at all and had a smirk on his face as he said "the bride and groom like the food and they're the ones paying so that's all that matters". How would he know who's paying the tab? I'm a close relative of the bride and groom and I know that they were very disappointed in how he spoke to me. The wait staff and managers were incredibly friendly however the chef, Vittorio is a rude man with no respect! If I'm invited to another wedding there I will first call and ask if Vittorio is still a chef there because if he is I will not attend!
