I'm a fairly new customer here at
Blackburn Bennett heating.
They have been to my house a few times in the last couple of years.
I have to say , so far I have been pretty happy.
Bob ( Furnace technician) is Awesome, a really cool and friendly guy and knows his furnaces like no other.
He really takes his time and let's you know just what the problem is.
The lady in the customer service department was very friendly and sweet to talk to when making the appointment .

Was able to get a same day appointment, very grateful, and then he was able to get here 2 hours earlier. Very pleased. And our plumber Matthew was professional, efficient and ensured the system was working as best as possible. Would definitely recommend.

Where do I even begin..
I called in the morning to have a plumber come by my place to fix a backed up drain. The woman on the phone grabbed my information then told me that someone would be over in the afternoon. When I arrived home around 345pm from work, my wife had told me that no one had shown up. When I gave them a call for a rough ETA, the same woman who told me that someone would come in the afternoon, told me that actually no appointment was booked and that no one was going to come. When I explained that I needed someone to come she then explained that I would have to pay double time even though it was their fault for not putting in the appointment. Instead of trying to fix the problem, she told me that “I should have called earlier” and that she was not going to send anyone if I wasn’t going to pay overtime. When I asked to speak to a manager, she refused and was about to hang up the phone on me when I just gave in and said yes as I needed the issue fixed for the weekend.
When the plumber arrived, he was great. Honestly he should go work elsewhere as I can’t imagine how they treat their employees if they treat their customers in a way I was treated.
The following Tuesday I called the accounting number to ask to speak to a manager or owner regarding the issue before I ended up paying. They told me that they were going to get a manager to call me in 24 hours. After no call 24 hours later, I tried calling again as I just simply wanted my bill possibly fixed. After voicemail after voicemail, my calls ended up going strait to voicemail and no call back. Tuesday to Friday I have been ghosted which is making me write this review.
As mentioned the plumber who came to my house was the best part of this experience. Between the extremely rude woman booking appointments, to being lied to, to no call backs, to then being ghosted and seemed blocked from calling them, I will never deal with this company ever again. I will take my business elsewhere.
If you want the worst customer experience ever and basically robbed, do yourself a favour and give them a call! Negative stars if that was an option.

I was very impressed with the service from Blackburn Bennett yesterday. They were able to come the same day I called and Jesse did a great job fixing a leaking pie under my kitchen sink and installing my new kitchen tap. They will be my plumbing service of choice from now on!

I needed 2 toilets installed, and they were able to come the next day. Great job. Friendly service! Loved their app that provided updates on when the plumber was en route. Would recommend.

Fantastic service! I punctured a hot water heating pipe, called the company, they directed me what to do and then arrived within 24 hours. Friendly, explained the work they were doing and left the job site pristine ! I’m very happy I used these guys.

All the other bad reviews for this company reflects exactly what I experienced, and I wish I had checked before I decided to carry forward with choosing this company.

Owner Leroy and general manager Jeff were both extremely rude and passive aggressive. When the quote didn’t make sense to me, I asked the owner, he got defensive and told me to go somewhere else for cheaper and made it clear that no one else would do as good of a job as him. If I wasn’t on a time crunch for getting the job I needed done, I definitely would’ve gone with someone else. All they care about is money. Bad communication and customer service.

Approximately $3000-4000 for a new hot water line nailed to the outside of my wall… never again. They’ll make unnecessary holes as shown in pictures. Didn’t even bother cutting short and capping off the pipes after they removed our hot water baseboards. Call Blackburn Bennett if this is the type of work you’re looking to get done!

Absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone.
