We have undertaken 2 extensive landscape projects with Ralph Young. On both occasions Ralph proved why it was worth waiting for him to be available to do the work. From initial planning, to ground preparation, to the laying of the last piece of stone or greenery, his attention to detail, his need to do it right was refreshing in today's hurry up and move on to the next job mentality. We always felt included at every phase of the projects, and he truly listened to our feedback. When appropriate, he would make changes to the initial plans.
An important but often overlooked consideration when hiring a contractor, is how pleasant it was to have Ralph and Paul doing work around the house. When coming home to a yard under renovation, their warmth and love of their work made you look past the dirt and see the end project. Every night the site was cleaned up, tools gathered, and hazards marked off.

1 1/2 years ago Ralph and Paul did our step down driveway . We are are very pleased with their work! Both men take great pride in their work and this is reflected in the finished product. My husband and I highly recommend them for any job!! Kirkland Lake's loss is surely Barrie's gain! Best wishes guys in your new locale!!!

Tough Oaks landscaped our yard after we built our home 3 years ago. They are perfectionists to say the least. They designed and produced a beautiful yard for us. We have had many compliments from people passing by. Their stone work is second to none and not a stone has moved. I would recommend them for any landscaping job. Sorry to see they have left our area.

Ralph and Paul young did our driveway , front and back deck,and walkway to the back yard!! They did an excellent job!! It was a very big project that they took on but the end result was very satisfying!! We have since gotten them to do more brick work for us!! I would highly recommend them to do brick work as well as landscaping as they also did our landscaping !!! They are very meticulous in their work and always made sure the customers were satisfied of the end result!!
