Any place that treats me like a number and the staff just look at me like an inconvenience is a place I will not frequent. Sorry, but I pay your salary and if I'm not valued, then I don’t need to be there. To the Canadian Tire management....your staff is the face of the business, please train them accordingly!

My wife and I visited this Canadian Tire Gas+ around 10:15 p.m. to fill up our car. Out of the 8 fuel pumps, only 2 were available. My wife went inside to ask the cashier why the other pumps weren’t working, and he simply said that only those 2 pumps could be used.

Since both pumps were occupied, we waited patiently for our turn. I was able to start fueling first, and about 3 minutes later another pump became available for my wife. However, when she got out of the car, the pump suddenly displayed “Unavailable.”

We ask what happened, and the cashier responded with an attitude, saying that the pump was closed. At that point, we were the only customers there.

I understand that the gas station closes around 10:30 p.m., but this could have been communicated earlier. When my wife first asked why only 2 pumps were available, the cashier could have explained that some pumps would be closing soon, or simply allowed customers to use all available pumps until closing time.

The biggest disappointment was not the limited number of pumps—it was the poor customer service and the dismissive attitude. A little communication and courtesy would have made the experience much better.

Came in yesterday around 6/6:30pm to get propane and that old skinny dude said no not doing it, dude always had an attitude but whatever I figured it was closed but, talking to the lady this morning she said there should have been no issue and I’m assuming dude it just lazy. Get him gone I’d say. Everyone else her is great and would have a better rating I’m sure.

I've been going to this gas bar for around 7 years and all the staff are very pleasant, personable and provide great service! They make you feel welcome and not rushed and always have time for a quick chat
The store is always fully stocked with a good variety of products. It's always neat and clean.
Nita takes great pride in the gas bar!
