A few years ago the automatic transmission wasn't upshifting smoothly on my Aerostar van.
The owner test drove the vehicle and diagnosed the problem right away - a clogged catalytic converter delaying the upshift - nothing to do with the transmission so he directed me to a muffler shop in the vicinity.
I asked him how much he wanted for the diagnosis and he wouldn't take a dime.
I later replaced the catalytic converter myself and the transmission shifted normally.
He was an honest technician.

Ace Transmission Ltd. Desperate Times: Tony the manager (LoneWolf) will chew you to pieces. He is the closest human being to a RAT. He will say anything to get your business, then he will gouge you to pieces. Your money that is and your car parts. The once honest Transmission shop is just a shadow of itself. Shame Tony....
and Wolf Transmission. Alas they are slowly disappearing as CROWN antirust takes them over. All bad things must come to an END.
