Enviro Tree Care was founded in 2006 by Anson Chase Kirby. Anson’s earliest memories, growing up in British Columbia, were of exploring nature in the boreal and coastal forest regions with his great-grandfather. From an early age, Anson understood the importance of trees in the health of our world.… Enviro Tree Care was founded in 2006 by Anson Chase Kirby. Anson’s earliest memories, growing up in British Columbia, were of exploring nature in the boreal and coastal forest regions with his great-grandfather. From an early age, Anson understood the importance of trees in the health of our world. Members of Anson’s family have been in the logging and forestry industry for 3 generations, which led him down his current path. After spending time caring for trees in Australia, the United Kingdom and parts of North America, he moved to Toronto to further his career. In 2001, Anson joined Davey Tree Care Experts, where he became a lead climber and foreman of residential and Toronto Hydro line clearing crews. He was awarded his accreditation for Advanced Rigging Techniques through Guelph University, and is a qualified Ontario Arborist. During his time with Davey, he realized that Toronto and the surrounding area had a vibrant and healthy urban forest that needed care and preservation. Anson founded Enviro Tree Care with the goal of providing expert, environmentally sound tree care for the people and trees of the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas.
