What a rip-off after the contract ended! After 3 years, they sent me a hugely inflated bill. I called them, and the woman told me it was just an update to the contract, which ends next month. She said, "Don't pay it, I'll draw up a new contract for you," which she did brilliantly. Obviously, it wasn't as exorbitant as this crazy bill, and she told me that this amount would be applied starting next month, and to pay my usual amount for this month. (Due in just 3 weeks!) A week later, I went back to pay the bill, and I saw that the large amount was still there. I called again, and another woman told me, "No, you have to pay it!" She said I should have remembered the contract end date after 3 years and called beforehand, and that they don't send reminders like other companies do, 1 or even 2 months in advance! Are you kidding me? I called the OPC (Office de la protection du consommateur) and they told me they're obligated to send us 60 days' notice, either by letter or email! But there's no way to settle it, no matter what. They increased the bill by about 40%, and yet I didn't add anything, didn't ask for anything, just received a huge bill that I have to pay!! The woman was very stubborn... she could have tried to do something or put me through to her supervisor... but apparently that's how they operate to make money! They're pushing us to leave and go back to our old supplier who's offering the same price with new features and no contract! It's a shame; if they had been more accommodating, I would have stayed, but seeing this, and their poor customer loyalty and lack of professionalism, I understand why they don't care!! I've been advised to file a complaint with the OPC and the CRTC! Which I will do. So I'm leaving them, but I'm staying loyal to others now. Basically, be careful or just skip it altogether!
