I am beyond furious! I consider myself fairly lax when it comes to certain things -I am one to understand that mistakes happen. But they did a shit job. We have been asking my daughter since January what kinda cake she wanted. Not princesses... not characters like Dora... Nope... she wanted a school bus cake. The girl had spoken, so we decided to go with Irresistible Cakes in Woodbridge as I had got my wedding cake from them years ago. Since the order I placed 3 weeks ago, I had called on 3 occasions about the order and confirmed the pick-up location, as they had a location in Scarborough to pick up the cake. I called today to see if the cake was ready for pick up today. Of course they say yes. Then I get a call back to advise me that their delivery person missed the order and that they would need me to come to Woodbridge. After some back and forth, they agreed to drop it off at my residence. As upset as I was about the situation, I would have gotten over it, since it was a mistake after-all. However, I finally get the cake this evening and it was a hot mess. NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER! Did they make the cake last minute? Did they not care because it was for a four year old? Or did they do this out of spite for asking to have it delivered to me? I am thoroughly disappointed. Of course its not the end of the world, but as a paying customer, I expect my money's worth. This was far from it....

I've ordered my wedding cake here back in 2010, although the marriage didn't last the cake was awesome. I came back and I orderd my sons baptism cake here and it was even better. The following year I came back and ordered my sons birthday cake and once agin they have outdone themselves!!!! iI Cakes I love you all, please keep up the wonderful job that you continue to do for every occasion. I've got nothing but nice things to say about this place as they have always done a great job with all of my orders.

Irresistible Cakes made us a 5 tiered wedding cake for our wedding on September 28, 2013 and it tasted really great. They were very nice to us during the cake tasting allowing us to try a lot of different flavours. We were grateful for the 911 cake service, but also thankful we didn't have to use it. When we tried to phone them with instructions from our caterer about when to deliver the cake, we had no trouble getting in touch with them on the phone. We had leftover cake to take home (our fault) but it still tasted nice and moist and delicious on the Tuesday after the wedding. The cake looked beautiful, thanks again,

I called the store to ask if my fiancé and I could come over to inquire about a wedding cake. The lady on the phone said sure come on over for a taste test. So we drove over, walked into the store said hello and there was no reply. Just 3 lady employees busy talking amongst themselves. There was NO acknowledgement of our presence in the store at all. At this point our impression of the store went from good to Bad!!!!

It took a few minutes for someone to come over and ask if we could be helped. I showed a picture of the cake we were looking for so she took it into the back to get a price for us . She then came back with a price but didn't ask if we wanted to sample any cakes like she said over the phone. She didn't seem interested at all about helping us out.

She then went back to talking with her coworkers.

We were not pleased at all with this place, horrible customer service!!!!! They lost potential customers and could have cared less about it.

I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!!

Please be advised not to ever use this business to order any type of cake..i ordered my 3 layer cake and spent a large amount of money on a cake that tasted so horrible that no one was able to eat it. When i called them they didn't seem to care at all..they accused me of making it up..never use irresistable cakes!! I learned the expensive way.

In the past I ordered 4 cakes per year from Irresistable but NO LONGER. I ordered my daughter's communion cake and was REALLY disappointed. I ordered a custom cake and it was TOTALLY WRONG. When I called in to let the baker know it was incorrect he was rude and basically told me he did not CARE!
I am disguisted with the lack of customer service.

I've been a long time customer of Irresistable Cakes and although they've made small mistakes over the years, I've forgiven them. We recently had a special occasion for which they made a cake and it didn't turn out the way it should have. When I called them to advise them they were very defensive and agreed to do absolutely NOTHING for me. They have lost my business and I will make sure all my friends and family are aware of the nonsense I've endured. They are far from professional. These people do not deserve to be in business! DO NOT GET CAKES HERE; YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!

I used them last year for my wedding. They were the most reasonably priced cake at that time. I called many places and I don't know what they were smoking quoting me those prices. No cake is worth 700 dollars and up for a small 3 layer. Icakes fit with in my budget and they customized it the way I wanted with no extra charge (small change).

The worker brought the cake on time and set it up. They seemed to be very professional. The cake tasted great. I got alot of good reviews from the guests.

I am not sure about the lower ratings. But it was the best price i found.

My husband and I have ordered cakes for over 16 years since we got married in 1994. There has been many different designs, flavours and creativity since we've ordered. In June of 2009,I ordered both confirmation and communion cake combined and let me tell you, the bible book with fondant icing, caffe latte vanilla cake was "superb". People have to be precise in what they anticipate prior to ordering because you will see the end results. I have recommended this place for over 10 years to friends and they will continue ordering from this place. Your doing an amazing job, keep up the good work!

OK - so don't expect a hug or to be pampered, and make sure you are 100% clear when you order (I asked for edible flowers and got 2-dimensional cookie-cutter style, instead of the 3-d I was expecting- but I decided I wasn't clear when I made the request - I just assumed). BUT....this was a small birthday cake, very reasonably priced, called at 7:30 a.m. for cake that evening - got to choose from multiple types and flavours. Final result was a round white cake with a raspberry cream filling and white fondant icing - a huge hit. Will be back for more - lots of anniversaries and 50th birthdays coming up.

I called asking for a price range and to get an understanding of what to expect for wedding cakes.
The guy was SO RUDE on the phone - he was evasive and short with his answers. He wouldn't tell me how the cakes are made or what determines the cost. When i asked how I would know if a cake was expensive, he said I wouldn't be able to tell

I have never written a negative review on someone - but after getting off the phone with him I had to.

This is a business which is clearly not concerned with customer care or professionalism.
