At the foot of the Royal Mile lies the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel, nestled between the Scottish Parliament Building, Arthur's Seat and Dynamic Earth. Not far from our doorstep, you'll find the cobbled streets and closes of Edinburgh's Royal Mile, complete with eateries, shops and ghost tours. From the comfort of your room, though, the bustle of the city centre will disappear behind triple glazed windows. Each of our rooms are presented with decor of the highest standard and marble en-suite bathrooms. The hotel itself is equipped with everything you need, from a luxury spa and gym, to a fine dining restaurant and bar. We serve only the finest local cuisine on our classic Scottish menu. In the bar, refresh yourself with your favourite tipple, or snack on a traditional afternoon tea. We really are an ideal base from which to explore Scotland's majestic capital city. Read more
